      Thanks! And you might like to know that I officially committed to the Audio Technicas and returned the others. They are the lowest frills of the bunch (the Sennheisers were very tempting because of the quality feel) but the sound is just great - and that's what they're for.

However, your vid has the best personality and real world real time review of all three! Loved this, just got my M50xBT2s and like them so much bought another for my sister for her birthday. Well done vid!

    WOW! I literally just went through the same exact journey and also chose the M50xBT2. Got them two days ago and I have still not turned them off or charged them. I got them a brown headband protector, with fluffy brown velour headphones. I also went and got custom-designed protectors from Skinwraps, for them to give them that wooden look.
    And I absolutely agree. The look of those more expensive modern headphones does look stupid. When I get headphones, I want to look like a WWII bomber pilot or a smuggler from Star Wars. A man of action. Not trying to look like some bland IBM/Google millennial employee with high-water pants and a step-counter watch.

      Hi there! I'll admit I did not try the Marshalls, but based on the reviews I should have - they sound like a comparable alternative. I am still perfectly happy with my ATs - no complaints re sound/comfort/ease of use. If you compare the two, let me know what you think. After spending so much time deliberating, it occurred to me that I knew I would keep the ATs right away. I had to go through the process, but they were the "right ones" from the moment I put them on. I hope you have a similar experience.

    @brittanyjadem 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey thanks for the insightful review and comparison! I was wondering how do the ATs feel in terms of comfort after a few months of using them? I'm a bit worried about them hurting the top of my head after wearing them for long periods of time.

    • @gabriellalawrence1065
      @gabriellalawrence1065  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Honestly, I don't wear them for hours on end, though I think they have conformed to my head some in the time that I have owned them. When I first put them on, I am very "aware" of them, but that quickly goes away. 2 hours is about my max for intense listening anyway, so it's not much of an issue.

  • @tomaszmaj4766
    @tomaszmaj4766 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the comparison. Did you test the latency on PC in videos like youtube? I'm lookin for universal wireless headphones and gravitating to Audio Technica. They have low latency mode in the app. Did you test that?

    • @gabriellalawrence1065
      @gabriellalawrence1065  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi - I'll admit I did not. I only interested in these headphones for listening to music. I have fiddled around with the app, but much of what I like about the ATs is that I get a pretty pure, neutral listening experience. I have a feeling that if I were using headphones for videos, etc., I wouldn't care as much about the nuances of the sound. So many headphones are really good, I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference in that instance.

    I got the non Bluetooth version of the M50x last week and so far I'm extremely impressed with the sound quality. I wanted decent overears for when I'm sitting down, relaxing with my Music and so Bluetooth wasn't an important consideration. Bluetooth and wandering around the house or going out is more than adequately handed by my on ear Marshall Major iv's.....talk about battery life and a very good sound!!!
    Interestingly, I was expecting the usual Audio-Technica branded "pleather" pouch featured here, which wasn't an issue as these aren't going out and about with me. However, they actually came with a decent hardshell case. I put that down to them being an exclusive Amazon version in Gun metal (more of a dull Silver). That maybe worth consideration for those that want decent protection for their headphones when travelling, I can't see why the Bluetooth version would have a different case.

Which kinda gives the impression that M50x sound flat, but if we put it to the test, they aren't. They aren't bad studio monitor, they sound more natural than most consumer's headphones, but to say it's flat is kinda overestimating.

    I found zero information about sound characteristics in comparison of these. First I was yeeeeah, she is music critique person, it will be best possible review. What we get? Woman running all around her apartment talking very very generally. Nothing really important said here.. Sadly..

      Yeah - I’m not a true audiophile and don’t know the technical terms, but I like what I like. Sorry it wasn’t helpful for you.

      @@gabriellalawrence1065 No offense, but only your personal opinion without any valid data is not much helpful. But since you have 3 different headphones which belongs to same category, there really was a room for nice head to head comparison.
      For example if you measure earpads in diameter, or if you can describe build quality better. Also I did not hear a thing if they can be used on a cable,because many BT headphones over head can be used "passively" with flat battery which is something you want to know before you buy BUT many shops (hard to believe right?) dont mention that. I have AudioTechnica mx40 for example and its very flat by sound. Hard to looking for some juicy punchy bass even I prefer well balanced sound, these ones are really flat and equalizer does not work well for me either. So other people will be glad to here from you (next time maybe) sound comparison from one to another. "Crisp sound" is not saying much, because you expect really good sound if you buying headphones for that kind off money (at least I for sure). Basically Iam trying to solve which one from this 3 I want to buy and I had high expectations about this video,but I dont know much more, so I decide nothing🙄 Thanks for your reaction (really), be well and I wish you all best to upcoming new year 2024.

    Ma'am please stop walking around.... We don't need no tour of your home. Just sit down, please. I'm getting dizzy.

      Luckily, I'm not a serious TH-camr (though I am considering talking about my new 1985 Mercedes 300D - impressions, regrets, etc. ) but if I make a video again I'll do my best to keep still.

      @@gabriellalawrence1065 Nope, walk, walk, walk! It didn't affected your mic anyway. I was quite happy to see a video of someone walking around telling stuff. Which mic did you use by the way?
