This Audio Technica is so good and doesn’t much heat up your ears. You can always change the pads to velour or sheepskin easily without any tools. The most crazy part is this competes with even the most premium wireless headphones in the world. For those in doubt can go to rtings and compare tool and see their in depth values, measures and graphs. Also the battery life is top notch Such A Great Product from Japan 🇯🇵
Yeah, it’s silly how cheap they compared to other premium Bluetooth cans. I’ve recently purchased the Focal Bathys. It’s a flagship 4x the price from a “premium” headphone company. Yet the m50x sounds like 85-90% on the same playing field
Received these M50x BT2 a few days ago and out of the box the sound quality is excellent. They definitely exceeded my expectation for the price and I've not even bedded them in yet. What would be a considerable upgrade in sound quality for Trance music on these (I don't need Bluetooth necessarily).
Hi! In short - wired audio is better (in my experience). LDAC Adaptive sound very good but i'm still missing some details, soundstage and prescission, it all get slightly better if you change preferances in developer options but you have to do it manualy by default it streams adaptive only. In case with wired connection details, soundstage and prescission - all in right place, great headphones. Thanks!
New to this Channel. One single question. Which earpads do you prefer? Velour or sheepskin? Can you provide a link to one which you highly recommend which makes ears cooler and doesn’t affect the audio signature
Hi! Sheepskin, genuine leather, it fits me better, does not affect sound quality also very comfortable to wear for a longer periods of time. I found these ones at amazon : www.amazon.nl/Schapenvacht-vervangende-Audio-Technica-ATH-M50xBT2-hoofdtelefoon/dp/B07T4969DP/ref=sr_1_9?__mk_nl_NL=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=3SJP9W3UWNJPK&keywords=audio+technica+m50x+bt2+earpads&qid=1686084970&sprefix=audio+technica+m50x+bt2+earpads%2Caps%2C69&sr=8-9 Thanks!
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I just got these headphones but I have a problem with the sound quality. I mean, it's not a problem, the sound is fine, but I expected more from these headphones. Is there any solution how to improve the sound, in other words to get the most out of these headphones?
Hi, the problem could be the source not the headphones. some of the devices does not treat Bluetooth connection (signal processing) equally. In case with AAC codec Apple does signal processing way better than any other brand, in fact way better than the Samsung or Huawei top tier devices therefore it sound significantly better on Apple. In case with Aptx Sony is the king, etc. Have you tried to compare SQ with different devices ? Wired - Wireless ? Thanks!
Hi! You can take a look at this link to amazon online store, i’m currently using these ones, it is one of very fine quality. Thanks! www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B07T4969DP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Nice Review. If you compare the ATH-M50xBT2 To the Bose NC 700 or Bose Q45/Sony WH-1000XM4 or WH-1000XM5..What you will choose one comes in Overall Sound Quality/Comfort/Build Quality/Battery life and Charging/Features/App and Why please?
Hi, i’m honestly do not have that much of experience with BOSE headphones, BOSE has its own sound signature which is not really a HiFi therefore not that interesting for me personally, as i know BOSE headphones are very good in regards to noice canceling tech. Sony WH-1000XM4 is certainly a better choice, everything is very well designed and most importantly it sound fantastic, it’s also priced well these days. About WH-1000XM5 - i do not like the overal look of it so i did not tested it, i believe it will sound good but it does not look as comfortable as previous model so i rather pass. I would also recommend to take a look at WH-1000XM3 if you can find one, those were very good. So between ATM-M50BT2 and Sony WH-1000XM4 i would choose AudioTechnica due to design and some of my personal preferences otherwise Sony would be my choice (runner up). P.S. AudioTechnica 50 Hours battery life is a very strong feature, in regards to apps they are more or less equal, no difference from my point of view. Thanks!
Nice review! I have some questions... -can you use a 3.5 minijack cable with microphone like the one that the previous version had? -I want to use it wired to use it with my synth setup and wireless for the mobile phone and PC, is the sound still good enough wired? without any battery? Thanks a lot!
Hi! It has just usual 3.5mm jack connector so any generic (common) 3.5mm jack cable should work just fine. M50xBT2 has mic build in therefore i’m not sure microphone build in cable will work but i did not tested it for that matter so i can not really answer that question. Wired connection with good cable sound slightly better than the wireless one even with LDAC so i’m sure you’ll be very pleased with sound quality. It also works just fine as wireless hands free headset, audio quality on calls are exceptional. Thanks!
Also, can you compare the sound quality over wireless with Airpods Pro 2? I know, it's a weird comparison, but I'm thinking of having something compact. On the other hand, I don't want to compromise on sound quality too much. I supose these would sound way better, because they are over-ear. Am I correct?
Hi, I do not have Airpods Pro 2 in my possession, honestly i prefer overheads although some of the TWS are quite good, i'm using CKS50TW for couple of years, it's a very fine model, I can recommend it. Nevertheless, if you planning to do quality critical works i would recommend M50X wired mode. All TWS using certain technologies to make it sound "out of your head" in front of your face, for that matter they using acoustic manipulation therefore it is never really truthful enough to base one judgement of the sound quality upon it. Thanks!
@@TechieViewVideo Thanks! I really appreciate it! ❤ It's not intended for quality-critical listening, I've got Sennheiser HD6XX for that. It's meant to be more of a "on the go" kinda thing. HD6XX are too bulky for that, in my opinion. And the cable can also get annoying. Outside of the fact, they are open-back, of course. On the other hand, considering the price/performace ratio of the Airpods Pro 2, it sounds like a bad joke, compared to the M50X BT2. Their price/performace is wild, compared to other options. The only thing, that's "turning me off" is, how plasticy they are. I was considering the Focal Bathys. I really like the build quality and the design. And also the built-in DAC over USB-C. But the fact, I could NOT use them wired without them running on battery, is just BEYOND RETARDED. Especially for such an insane high price tag.
@@191. Yes, indeed, M50x is made out of plastic but does not feel that bad, in fact quality wise it is very good. I've got mine for quite sometime but i never really felt any discomfort or disturbance due to lack of quality of "squicky" noises. It just good. If you going to compare it to the top of premium segment like B&W (for example) it would certainly look quite plasticy but stiil not entirely wrong. Thanks!

Hi! it works perfectly on a Mac or iPadOS but with Windows it is slightly different, it depends on manufacturer, in some cases bluetooth headphones not working as good as intended due to quality (level) of implementation of the bluetooth in the system. Thanks!
Hi, with customized ear-pads glasses are not a problem, at least in my case, original ear-pads are rather thin so it is possible to get fatigue wearing it for longer periods. Thanks!
Hi, it depends on the quality, some of the ear-pads are not good even if its feels soft and nice to touch it could affect sound signature badly, it happens due to low quality materials they've used, some of the "bad" quality ear-pads just absorbing sound waves therefore making headphones sound unfocused and dull. The ear-pads I'm using made out of genuine leather with memory foam inside - it does not affect sound signature, it sound just as intended. Thanks!

As far as wireless connectivity, how would using LDAC ONLY connectivity compare to wired audio?
