Did the engine have a cold start, or was it pre-warmed? If it was four 15 minute drives each from cold start mpg would be lower. Was the acceleration and braking rates the same as average non-hybrid cars or was the car hypermiled?

I'm not because govt does that all the time for everything. If you want to fix a problem never ask govt because 100% of the time they'll make it worse or they'll create a new problem somewhere else that's worse than the original problem. If Toyota makes the Yaris in the USA it won't have that tax / tariff and I don't think it's right for govt to force that as an only option, but it's still an option regardless.

It seems like, this engine version as cross vs normal yaris are having similar consumption. another video as yaris hybrid was 2.8lt. Am I correct?
That is right, it is the same engine (hybrid system) :)
