I wondered how you got those coffee stains that were little squares but not in straight lines. I was ready to get out a paint brush and paint coffee squares. Lol. Then you showed us your large doily! Oh… and, your red fingernails are getting me in the mood for Christmas. Can’t wait to watch your next Christmas Journal and your Calendar with the candy in the windows (my brain went blank)…. I make floating spines but never realized that if only glue the sides of the spine and not the centers where the signatures are sewn in, the journal will lay flat. I can’t wait now to try this on the journal I’m making now. Your work is beautiful, and all your journal cards are so imaginative!

I counted 40 spots. Not sure I counted correctly, but I believe you succeeded. I love the hidden stitch for spine. Love all the ladies.
Glue the inside cover pages after glueing the signature block so it covers the Tyvek.

Lovely! I think the plasticky stuff that looks like spider-web is used by florists to wrap around flower bouqets.

You did a beautiful job! I think these types of journals are my favorite. I used to swap junk with another and then we were allowed to use five things in our stash to complete the journal. Some of my favorite journals were created this way.
