    OK, stop the internet already!
These are now officially THEE best blondies ever. I have made dozens before but I have to say that these turned out the best I've ever made.
I made them exactly as described in the recipe but just added a sprinkling of tiny freeze-dried raspberry pieces and they were so fudgy. Divine 💖

I've been on a quest for the best blondie recipe for a couple of years, sometimes getting close, but feeling it could still be improved. This recipe has put an end to my search. I brown the butter (if you haven't heard of it, look it up, it adds the most incredible flavour) and I swap the nuts for more chocolate, which I chop chunky, as I'm not a fan of nuts in blondie.

Made these last weekend, 22 minutes in a 10-inch square pan and browned the butter. Wowee they were so delicious and not too sweet at all! My fiancé, in laws and colleagues hoovered them up in record time! Sticking this one in the folder right next to your brownie recipe that I now swear by. Thanks for another amazing recipe, MK. Cheers from Christchurch!

Lol it’s not “banned” we have all purpose flour here which has marginally less protein than your cake flour in NZ but IF you want to you can add cornflour to simulate your “cake flour” Tbh I’ve never found it made too much difference as I’ve baked recipes from all over the world with our flour without any issues.

This is the third recipe of yours I do and again it’s come out too dry, what I’ve realized is that you put too much time, I follow all your instructions I don’t have a fan in my oven so I put the regular temp which works for all my recipes and I never have this issue with any other recipe I follow but after three recipes of yours I’ve realized they are good recipes but I just need to lower the time, I did 28 minutes on these and that was way too long, definitely do around 22-25 if you want them soft and gooey in the middle like hers.

You are absolutely correct! I think the reason hers is longer time is because of the cold weather (as she said it herself) and perhaps the elevation. Lower air pressure at higher elevations will make things cook/bake longer so what time it takes her to bake hers might be less for you. I live in California and we have warmer weather and I baked mine at only 25 minutes and it was perfect! Still gooey in the center but definitely baked in the corners.

@@wrestlingexcellence2590 I live in San Diego 👋🏻 I did 25 minutes too and was overcooked not gooey anymore but still tasted good. Still worth trying again with less time.

@@johannaliceaga5936 I live in the SF Bay Area 🤝. I'm sure you didn't over-mixed since I get the feeling you're an experienced baker. One thing I can think of is glass vs metal pan. May I ask if you used glass? Glass heats faster and better than metal so your baked goods will cook faster in glass (also will retain heat longer so it doesn't cool off quick).

@@wrestlingexcellence2590 Ya im super careful never to over mix and I use a scale to measure out ingredients since it does make such a difference but I did use a non stick pan which I’ve heard in a couple of videos that can make a difference with the baking time but I’ve never had a problem with other recipes, it’s all trial and error good thing I enjoy baking, thanks for the tips 🙂
