"Talent to burn" was the quote from a rock journalist who reviewed Traffic's album/show. This is where this featured song came from, of course. Fact is, "Talent To Burn" is an even more accurate description of Foxes and Fossils.
I have become a great fan of Chase since seeing her with Fossils and Fossils. How wonderful finding someone so deserving to be in this exceptional group.
Steve Winwood is a genius and with Clapton in Blind Faith they were an exceptional partnership. This version is awesome and Chase has a fantastic voice and the guitar work is amazing.
Chase sings the song like it's the easiest thing in the world. This power, this voice! and the band is just great. F&F is the highest quality, in every single musical note!
This songs bring me back to the summer of 1969, my first sumester in college going from an all boys Catholic School of 400 to a university of 17,000 half being young women. Blind Faith was the first Super Group & UK music ruled the airwaves. It was an exciting time for a 17 year old to be alive & music was a big part of life.
I really like Foxes and Fossils. They have a homespun aura about them that you don't see in the top name rock bands. And Chase has an amazing voice which she shares with us in this video.
You are up against some rock n roll GODS with this one. And you did not disappoint!! i am old enough to remember when this came out, have always liked it, and can't say enough good things about this performance. Just CHILLING!
Chase sings sweet and tender. Chase belts. CHASE ROCKS! The band can do slick studio production, but man, they can definitely excel at LIVE! Wish I could be at a live F&F show.
Oh, my gosh...any better and I'm pretty sure that would be wrong and/or illegal! Wow, that girl can sing. What a great voice Chase has and then such a talented group of amazing musicians. I never tire of hearing them but this song was from my youth and I'm 70 years old, so it's been awhile. I have the CD from the live concert in my truck and this is the first song I listen to every time I get in that old truck. Thanks a bunch to all of you for the music that you continue to bring to us.
MAN, I have always loved that song. Chase, your talents never cease to amaze me. Actually all the girls, Sammie and Maggie are more than pitch perfect. And the Foxes would be nowhere without the Fossils. As said, below, this is on of the world's greatest cover bands. Reminds me of the days, listening on my 8-track in my '65 convertible Mustang to Steve Winwood. 🎼🎸💙
The reason Fox & Fossils ALWAYS sounds so good..they do things old school..they play the actual instruments..look at this song..a mandolin, drummer & percussionist, the guy on the Korg killed it,Electric Rhythm,Lead and solo lead, plus Tim’s acoustic guitar, and the base guitar holding it in time. Chase’s subtle restraint for this song was masterful, and the boys harmony’s were great! That’s early 70’s sound lives on with Foxes and Fossils..
I've been watching videos by Foxes and Fossils for a while now and never cease to be impressed by the stuff they put out. Great musicianship and singing. They always put their own unique spin on everything. If you've never seen their version of Suite Judy Blue Eyes you're really missing something.
Excellent vehicle for Chase's voice. It's as if the song had been written with someone like her in mind. The arrangement of the song is superb, with the mandolin introduction and then the rest of gang kicks in. Fine lead guitar from the newest rock star. Great new harmonies without the other foxes. One of my favorite Blind Faith songs given new life. Well done, F&F!
Great performance by Chase on lead vocals. She could blow you right out of your chair with that voice!! Darwin actually sounds like Clapton on the background vocals. The guitars Toby and Darwin are just phenomenal. Great rendition !!
This brought me to tears, the day after Christmas and having to see my 4-month-old first grandchild by Facetime since I'm 12 timezones away. This song has moved me for 50+ years but never more so than its arrangement starting with acoustic perfection that swells into a full rock tidal wave and vocals full of the emotions the lyrics and music evoke. This is a treasure!
Chills. Absolutely beautiful rendition.
Thank God for the internet
The best thing about this band is everything.
Excellent bass playing !
Rick Meeder on bass.

(released on "Blind Faiths" only album)
I have become a great fan of Chase since seeing her with Fossils and Fossils. How wonderful finding someone so deserving to be in this exceptional group.
The singer has a smokey quality to her voice that makes this song better than original
Steve Winwood is a genius and with Clapton in Blind Faith they were an exceptional partnership. This version is awesome and Chase has a fantastic voice and the guitar work is amazing.
I could listen to Chase sing anything, all night 🙏🌹👏👏🌹👏👏 Bravo!

Those old Fossils can rock!!
Chase!!! WOW! Gorgeous voice and terrific instrumentation by the band!
You are up against some rock n roll GODS with this one. And you did not disappoint!! i am old enough to remember when this came out, have always liked it, and can't say enough good things about this performance. Just CHILLING!
Should play at the Super Bowl. 🏈
Absolutely insane! cant wait to see them perform live!

The build up from the quiet, acoustic mandolin, to the raging, distorted electric guitar is just brilliant! Beautiful!
And then full circle back to soft for the ending. Loved it.
Well said, I was trying to figure out how to describe it.
Yeah..Darwin is legend...
yep! 1:05 is where I started to get the goosebumps. Awesome Awesome cover!
Otherworldly arrangement.

It may be hard to believe, but it sounded even better live at the first Reunion concert on 12/29/2022!

Good god a mighty! Incredible!!
Foxes and Fossils is the REAL DEAL!! Holy moly!!!!
I've been watching videos by Foxes and Fossils for a while now and never cease to be impressed by the stuff they put out. Great musicianship and singing. They always put their own unique spin on everything. If you've never seen their version of Suite Judy Blue Eyes you're really missing something.
So cool to see Maggie and Sammie on the couch just enjoying this old British classic
Yup. One of the cool things about the Foxes is that none of the three of them is a prima donna. They respect and support each other.

Wow!!! Great job Chase and Fossils. Chase, girl you killed it! 🎤 🎙
The more I listen to this the better I like it.
My Jaw just hit the floor!!! Amazing!
Fabulous! In addition to the singing, nothing sounds like a Gibson ES335 against a Hammond B3 & Leslie cabinet - -- Chase is amazing!
Play it, Dar! And Chase . . . WOW!
15 minutes 48 de bonheur....heu... oui 3 fois de suite Can't Find My Way Way Home... que ça fait du bien...merci F&F...j'vous adore...

Just a little teaser… this performance garnered a standing ovation!!! You will probably do the same!
If I could give this performance one thousand thumbs ups I would. You made a classic yours!
Chase is feeling it here.
Chase has such an amazing and versatile voice. But also so does Tim, a great rock voice.
The best cover band out there!
Warren Haynes and Govt Mule do the best covers in my opinion.
We were there!! Friggin awesome!!
Great performance by Chase on lead vocals. She could blow you right out of your chair with that voice!! Darwin actually sounds like Clapton on the background vocals. The guitars Toby and Darwin are just phenomenal. Great rendition !!

Chase is IT. cannot take my eyes or ears off her.
Great tribute to the one and only Blind Faith, one of the best groups/albums ever.
Who would have thought you would choose this? Fantastic.
mmmmmmm....some heavy metal shredding sounds! Very nice version. Winwood would think it's a win.
Chase, you are a ROCK STAR!
LOVE THIS PREFOMANCE CHASE YOU ROCKED IT
God Damn, What a set of pipes on this lady gave me the chills!
Chase Truran. Much more here as well as Chase sings and Chaseycha chn.
Pretty sure Stevie and Eric would approve of this! Great version all round.

The whole gang is great…and chase with that fantastic voice and performance. Wow.
Love this song. Vocally, lyrically, and musically. One of the best songs ever written, IMO.
Seriously, that is about as good as it gets. Amazing performance by an incredibly talented group of musicians. The vocals were pure gold.
