Looking ahead to 2025 I am thinking of buying a new line ……Admired your casting.. Can you tell me what rod and line you are using. my lines tend to be Rio - I use a multi tip version for sink tip and the Outbound for floating lines on my lighter rod. I also have a gale force line which is very good.
Fabulous! I'm curious about the nature of the streambed? I can see from your underwater release of that beautiful salmon at about 5:30 that at least where you were standing, it's small rocks lying on what appears to be a sand-gravel substrate. Am I correct? Does the streambed change up or downstream, or from shallow and near the bank to out in the middle of the river?

What are water temps like?

either gravel or bed rock - not an absolute expert so maybe someone more qualified will help out.
