- Alrighty, I've finally got my hands on an Xbox Series X, and honestly, this is my first time playing games at 4k.
All I can say it's a stellar experience! I'll be doing a comparison to the PS5 soon!

I also owned the series s first. And it was great. I then bought a series x. I have to say they did great with this beautiful console. Xbox is amazing.

As someone who owns a ps5 the xbox just looks so sleek and enamoring. And the controller feels so good. I used to own a 360 and then switched to PlayStation after for new gens. I’d get this if I could afford it
when i first saw the two consoles i thought the ps5 looked way nicer, but the xbox grew on me a lot. it looks like a mini PC.
I’ve owned both consoles and they both great. I’ve also owned a ps5. I’ve definitely spent more time on the Xbox side this Gen. I’m more of an enthusiast and find the series x to meet most of my needs. The series s is a capable machine and I’ve said before I can’t wait to see what it does once developers start taking full advantage of it. For now I’m really enjoying my series x and all it’s goodies like fps boost, backwards compat and game pass! It’s definitely a pro consumer console made for gamers

@@funkdocdoppelganger7720 ps5 and series s yes. I held onto series x as it gives me that value that I can appreciate as a consumer. No regrets at all. I use to be a pc gamer and the thought of gaming on the console and losing out on the options of resolution or quality or possibly even both would make it hard to stomach but this generation regardless of what you’re on has definitely blurred the lines and that’s great for us!

Left PC gaming over this console and a 1440p gaming monitor. Does mouse and keyboard very well if that is what you like and even has a web browser but not as good as a pc in that aspect. Never would of done that in the history of man b4 this console and the series S is great as well...
Sold my series x to start pc gaming then sold my pc and got back into Xbox again 😂 great console even the one x can use mouse and keyboard it’s pretty damn good what you get for the money

Just purchased the series X from the Microsoft site and an LG C1 OLED. Can't wait to get started. I really just bought all of this for RDR2. I have a gaming PC too with an ASUS RTX 3090 24gb card, but the Xbox is so easy to start up and just play. Very nice video, I really enjoyed the unboxing. Right to the point and all good info, nice job!

The fact that you get at least RTX 3060 GPU power AND an excellent BluRay drive AND the new , faster M.2 loading tech. (DirectStorage) is amazing for $500. And gamepass is the killer deal. I'm seriously thinking of selling my RX480 for a profit and getting this. (Powercolor Red Devil 8GB triple fans) only paid $100 over a year ago.

@@KingTode neither is the Xbox series x really and 8k is laughable. These are 2k 60 consoles that can be upscaled to 4k. Which is fine
@Silly Goose these console’s are not powerful enough to be native 4k in most cases. Depending on the game of course but normally it’s being upscaled from 2k.

I have both the series X and S and I have the series 2 elite controller for my X and the FH5 themed controller for my S and I love both of em honestly. Team Xbox💚

I was lucky enough to get it day 1. It's a great system overall. My only gripe is the lack of new gen games and ultra-wide monitor support.

I got both a ps5 and series s, and they both have they're own pros and cons over one another but on the other hand they're both amazing to game on. lowkey don't understand the fan boys I say they're equal in alot of ways

If you have not gotten a TV yet oh, I just got mine the other day and it's off the hook with my Xbox series X. It is a Hisense u8g and it was only $999 before tax at my local Best Buy. I just upgraded from the series s to the x, it’s arriving tomorrow and I’m so excited! I’ve had a lot of fun on my series s it really is a great console for the money, but it’s time to move onto bigger and better things.

Got mine on the 15th of January with physical discs of - CoD: Cold War, South Park, The Division, FIFA21 & Killer Instinct.
Haven’t got the time to unbox and play it yet due to work and other family commitments that has me on the move from time to time.
Hoping you do more series X videos & talk about accessories & hacks you’ve learnt while using this awesome gaming investment.

@@danielmosinyi7163 Because he wanted to try something new, I've hopped between both companies myself because both keep having their ups and downs, the PS5 is extremely lacking for me right now so I'm probably just gonna sell it and get a series X until Sony starts doing good shit again.

Nice video dude! Got the Series X last year and i love it. That Quick Resume feature is top notch!
With the Sony 2021 oled lineup now having vrr i highly recommend the a80j. The only drawback is that it doesn't have dolby vision gaming but it's definitely the better tv compared to the competition. Also Sony's processing is insanely good and makes my switch games look almost native 4k.

@@Obizgamez Free Sync is the same thing as vrr. And Gsync is just nvidia's version of it. While there's subtle differences, it's not enough to notice in real time situations.
The only drawback not having dolby vision gaming? Seriously? You clearly don't know what you're missing out..
@@AlexRodriguezzz I've used dolby vision gaming and it wasn't really all that different to hdr10 which is basically just open source hdr. Dolby vision is only implemented well in a few games and that feature alone shouldn't be a decision factor in your next tv imo.

I have both console and a nice gaming pc and I love the game pass and being able to download games on both pc and my Xbox. I have always been more os a PS and like the controller better but the series X has been amazing.

LG C1 pairs so well with the console. I just randomly got a series x today myself here in Alaska! Awesome Tom Delonge epiphone signature!

I have a LG C1 65" Oled, it looks amazing, cyberpunk 2077 at night with neon signs is beautiful.
Waiting on C2, to get w 55" for my man cave. I've been looking for 4k 2.1 120hz monitors and haven't found the perfect one so will wait for the C2.

You might be better off with a 1440p hdmi 2.0 monitor at 120hz. Less expensive and more fps since it’s easier to push 1440p vs 4K.
Series s is so damn good for 1080p-1440p gaming.its no pc, but still for the price it's so good. I bought a series X and Coming from a 12700k+4070 PC I was honestly pleasantly surprised when I saw the graphics on the Series X, especially on my main game Apex Legends, on the newly updated 120hz settings, So much so that I sold my rig to run the Xbox as my main rig. It's actually unbelievable
Great video! Ive got my xbox series x coming tomorrow along a with brilliant 4k oled tv that supports everything you need as a gamer. Without copying and pasting the full title of the tv you can search for LG oled 4k C3 or G3. I have a 55inch coming but it can also increase and decrease down to the 40's in size. It supports 120hz/fps and gives things like freesync etc. Its branded as one of the best gaming tvs out there today.
I just caught mine, been casually fishing the waters since launch... walked into target the other day, BOOM! only console on the shelf...

I feel that. I spent some early mornings trying to catch the stock as it reups. Even got to the card info screen but it told me they were out of stock last second. Getting one online was impossible.
Bought an x a day ago. past few days I’ve been going to Walmart as soon as they open (6 am) and I’ve been finding plenty of series x’s. :)
I also own a ps5, quest 2, series s and x, switch OLED, high end pc, and hopefully soon steam deck to complete my collection.
I am a PC gamer with high end rig running on 3440x1440 ultrawide and a XBSX for the lounge on a 4K TV . The Xbox (not my first) can never replace my PC, for a start half the games I play are not even available on consoles including new titles, as I enjoy strategy as much as shooters etc. Secondly KBM just destroys consoles for shooters and I am handy with a controller.
That said I think the XBSX is a great console, its nice to blob out on the couch and play FH5 or mess around in MS flight sim etc, and a decent streaming device. XBSX is quiet and cool and when you throw in GamePass that I use on both devices, its a no brainer. Personally I chose XBSX over PS5 knowing I will miss one or two Sony games per year I might want to play, however GamePass "easily" makes up for that, and with PC/XBSX I have too much to play now.

I got mine at the Army PX store for $499. No taxes! Shipped it stateside for $50. Still not bad considering its mine when I get back home
i went from a one x to a series x back in feb of this year. i have to say that i honestly cannot tell that much of a difference in the console at all. the controller is the same old iteration of its previous predecessors and the mere fact that they are still using batteries baffles me. the console heats up really quickly and its bulky. that was what i gathered from my time i purchased it to now (june 16th os 2022). this was the cons; now here are some pros: cold load time (from completely off to the dashboard) is really fast, game load time is quick, no power brick (lol). that is honestly all that i have for pros for this console. the graphics look identical to the OX (one x), the OX has the same in game response that the SX (series x) has. i know this will cause people to get triggered but my ps5 is so much better than the SX. i haven't turned on my sx in over a month because it just isn't what i thought it would be. i am guessing since i went from a ox to a sx is the reason why i am feeling this way towards this console because it is (to me) identical. maybe when xbox releases a game that is solely for the sx (for for xbox one consoles) i will see a difference but as of now i do not.

I bought an inexpensive Samsung 4k 60hz TV that looks amazing. Coming from PC gaming, I know there isn't anywhere the Series X will do 4k 120hz. There isn't anything I'm missing out on not getting an HDMI 2.1 TV.
Yes you are. 120hz is smooth as a hot knife thru butter. I'm on a 55 of c1 shit is excellent!
If you want 4K/120 gaming without the OLED price, go for an LG Nanocell. I have the 65” Nanocell 85, which is the 2020 model. It’s got 4 HDMI ports, 2 of which are 2.1 ports. So I have my PS5 and Series X plugged into those.

The best television for your shown setup should be the LG C2 42 inch. It has everything for gaming on the Xbox series X.
Is the C2 worth several hundred more than the C1? At first glance, it seems like very similar specs.
@@AdamsBrew78 no, it’s not but the C1 is not available at 42 inches. For me personally the 48 inches of the C1 would be too large for monitor usage.

I just have a low end 4k/60hz 50” LCD panel without anything fancy like VRR or HDR, so the 48” C1 for $800 would be a huge upgrade for me.

It was sold out so often I just gave up and waited. Just ordered one from best buy, looking forward to playing it. I still have my 500gb xbox 360 in excellent shape and an original xbox one in great shape as well. The only thing I dislike about the xbox one is how slow the downloads are. I have a 75 inch 4k lg with 2.1 hdmi and an lg c2 42 oled for my pc monitor, should work great on both! The bundle i bought comes with console, 2 controllers, 1tb ssd and a 3 month game pass ultimate.

My cousin found one for me and had to hold onto it while I was in the middle of a move and just found the time this past week to drop it off to me, and I'm loving every minute of it it's miles ahead of what I replaced it with (Xbox One S)
I'm still convinced that PS5 is a unicorn since you can't pick one up for cost, every store near me has the series x tho!

you can use LG C2 Oled TV for HDMI 2.1 and more, I bought it and I got a say that I do not regret, best Oled TV on the market.

Actually Xbox One X was the best and first 4K experience. And many games today still run at a native 4K, or close. The Series X is great, but as we're seeing many titles are still at 4K 30fps, or 1440p (sometimes a little higher) 60. OR even 1080p, 60fps. These consoles still struggle when they shouldn't. I'll keep the One X until they start getting some games that deliver the "goods". I do like the Series X and PS5 (Which I have though). Just don't need the SX (yet).

Don't be afraid of oled burn in. The oled tv's have settings to be safe against it. I recommend the LG oled c1. A c2 model is releasing this year. The oled puts out beautiful colors. Darks and brights.

I have 77 C1 .. games are gorgeous .. VRR and 4k120hz support … get whichever size C1 works for your room and don’t look back … just finished a few hours of Forza 5 , Guardians of Galaxy and the only game I’ve bought in 2 years (due to Gamepass ) Elden Ring. Looks amazing .
I find it ironic how this console is more powerful than quite a few people’s PCs. I’m not what most would call a “console peasant”, but I can testify first-hand that the Series X performs better than my friend’s gaming computer, my gaming computer, and they’re both about average as far as specs go.
I barely play my PS5 these days since I got the series X.
