Thanks so much for the inspiration. I just finished the CC 100 this year and watched your video about a dozen times leading up to the race. You definitely looked a lot better than me at the end way to comeback strong.
What a surprise to see my son and I (With that crazy “lean”) at the beginning and end of your video! You captured all the wonderful (and painful!) memories of that amazing day. I agree with you that the bike patrol was just the best! Thank you to you and your family for standing out there cheering at the end, I will never forget it! It is one of my favorite memories from that day. Great video!
Like you said, I don’t think I could have done it with the support of my family, the volunteers, and of course the bike patrol! Doing the Indiana Trail 100 in October, maybe I’ll see you there! 😃
@@saraeppenbaugh4956 good luck! I’m getting ready for Burning River. No plans after that yet?? Maybe get a pacer, if for nothing else to keep you company & keep an eye on you 😁
I watched your video many times before this year's race and it really inspired me. Now I am watching it a day after finishing, again. I know all the feels you were going through. Awesome job and thanks for inspiring this dude to run this race!
Brent, I met you for a quick second at Sippo Lake. Maybe in 2020. Kept seeing you there. Saw your Strava page some how. Oh probably looked at routes. Followed you. I met Dave this year at races. Probably
Thanks so much for sharing this so we could picture the race and learn from you. I crewed and paced for my friend to run the canal corridor 100- her first 100 mile race. We just made a video on it you may enjoy.
Believe it or not we have almost the exact story. Except I'm a back of the packer. My I'm done was at 85 IRA road turnaround. Another thing that slowed me down was #2 issues since Franklin I think #1
Great work man! Way to push through the darkness!
Thanks a ton!
So glad our coffee and soup could help you out at Ira
Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The Aid Station that turned my race around!!
