Hello Eva, I'm working in Emirates and I have to warn for one thing. It's not a permanently job. It can be but we all work for max 5-6 years to save some money and ba bye, it's not a job that you can stay forever. You'll probably think but it's my dream job, same girl same, it was my dream job I left my studies for this job and I regret it. Please take a degree first and then sure you can try to get the experience of a cabin crew member life's. Friendly advice, take care!
@Krystal c It's a part time job with 3 years contract. If you're good and they are OK with your work they offer you another 3 year contract but trust me no one do this job for ever. Check on youtube how many Quit Emirates and any other airlines. It's a fully nice experience, you learn a lot of things but that's it. It effects your body healthy and also sleeping problems that soon ends up with anxiety

I mean that’s the best part about it because after like a year or two, flight attendants get to choose which trips they want to work everyday and you can fly at night and sleep until morning in the flight

Very cool! I work on cruise ships and a lot of us end up doing this kind of work after leaving ships. There’s no stopping the travel bug once it bites.
I live in Dallas and I promise you didn’t miss out on much. I do recomendable visiting the Dallas Museum of Art or the Arboretum next time you’re here!

As long as you take care of your skin properly you should be fine
Some people don’t have the luxury of such a casual job and formal job make you wear make up to work so you don’t really have a choice
if you have a good quality make up with a protective factor that also nourishes your face, then you have no problem. Make sure the ingredients are natural.
Yes, this job is sexist. There are so many guidelines for female flight attendants but not for male ones, in the whole industry...
I was a flight attendant for EK for 5 1\2 years! Enjoy it girl it goes by fast! My advice leave after the 3 year contract cause if you stay longer it's much harder to leave and start over in a new career, unless you want EK as your life long career. And stay close to your family can be a very lonely job, I didn't like the isolation factor in the job. Take care girl and enjoy! :)

I’ll be graduating In May with a bachelors degree in social work, I thought it was too late too, but my boss assured me (she knows a lot of flight attendants because she was going to be one) that there are plenty of people in the position who have college degrees already, and that having a college degree gives you a better shot at the job. If this is what you truly want, don’t lose hope! ❤️

Mia Barriskill you just have to remember that planes are built to withstand turbulence. It’s impossible for turbulence to cause a crash etc. Think about when you’re driving a car down and it’s windy outside, it’s just the same. I also have flight anxiety but honestly planes are so safe and you don’t have to worry x
Do the Macarena the more shaky it gets. You’ll be distracted and look cool.
