On the last several Challenge Accepted videos I've noticed there's quite a lot of comments from people about the video being too short and that they miss the longer videos. I still very much enjoy watching these videos and appreciate the amount of time, money and effort it took to get these made. However, I do agree that the videos aren't as impactful as they used to be and that it often feels a bit lacking in depth and substance. I'm sure it's been a conscious decision from Michelle and the team to cut the videos short and I'm honestly curious to why that's the case. I'll gladly keep watching these but I would certainly love it if they'd go back to a longer and more in depth format.

People are bored on the plane and don’t realize we have a lot to do, and adding more work for us while we should already be getting to our jumpseats for takeoff is not a good way to pass time. I wish people would take our job more seriously because at the end of the day, if anything happens, they’ll be VERY glad we are trained to help them instead of just saying « sorry, i can’t help, but tea or coffee? ».

Michelle, I really encourage you to consider a disclaimer with this video. Flight attendant training academies are a financial grift. Absolutely no person wishing to be an FA should ever PAY for their training. Any airline hiring an FA candidate will train their employees, as we have different commands and security unique to each airline. These companies come with NO guarantee of a job after. Applying to become a flight attendant is more competitive than getting into Harvard. There are typically 100K applications for just a thousand or so spots every year. I LOVE your videos, and it is always fascinating to learn of the different unique jobs that keep us all going. Additionally, the pay, hours and expectations of begin a flight attendant or extraordinarily taxing. I realize you are focused on eye catching content, but the less pleasant side of careers is an important factor as well. It would do so many young flight attendants I've met well to truly understand teh commitment, financial and time sacrifice we all make. sincerely and with gratitude, a washed up old flight attendant.

@@gabrielas550 That may very well be true, but these are for-profit scams in the United States, leaving young financially vulnerable people with the hopes that they are guaranteed or have an advantage in securing a position with an airline. They are exploitative here. Given that this creator is American, and I generally really enjoy her content, it's also important to pull back the curtain on this particular production, so as not to unintentionally mislead others. My criticism is not of Michelle, but of the programs like this here, that are fully without merit in the professional aviation space.

*dont get me wrong..ive been a subscriber for long, but I noticed this in the paramedic episode too and now in this one...Michelle you're such a fun personality but at times honestly I think when the professionals are giving you directions or story telling, sometimes you give off major unserious vibes...Im trying to put it as kindly as I can, but when the professional is telling you a story of how serious the situation can be and you're shaking your head or laughing in disbelief I think during such incidents, professionalism from your side can be implemented more. Considering that you've been so tough and inspiring through all the previous challenges, it was quite surprising to see you panic and break into pure chaos at the sight of the fire during the intro. Because by this point in the episode series I don't think seeing an extinguisher or a fire was "a first".
