I noted Tears in Heaven in number 2. I'm learning that one now via your lesson program and its going well. Nearly 2 years in, starting in my 30s, I've been learning from the beggining using your lesson plans. Never thought I'd find myself playing as many songs as I do, or doing fingerstyle and the like. Just dropping in to say good work - got me playing guitar where other methods failed.
Only one song I learned so far out of these top ten, it’s #8 Dust in the Wind. Will try to learn more.. Thank you so much for keeping up the tutorials with very clear guidance!
What a video, Dave! Loved everything about it - the song selection, the tabs, the playthroughs and the short stories in between. Keep it up! Would love to see more such videos :)
Hey dave just wanted to mention that I've been watching your videos since i started playing guitar more than 2 years ago. You're probably the main reason behind my progress man! Me and my friends love you
So glad you put Tears in Heaven. That song was the reason I bought an acoustic. It was the first finger picking I learned and it's still one of my favorite songs to play still.
So nice - Thanks for the great songs I can hopefully learn and get good at, ALL terrific / Spot on selections. Love the backgrounder too. I heard George Harrison talk about Here Comes The Sun just as you reported. What a cool bit of content you added there__ again Mahalo!
out of these songs i can only play blackbird, tears in heaven and here comes the sun!.......though i always wanted to learn stop the train...... here with out you 3 doors down is a lovely finger picking song. one of my favs on the guitar.
Was holding my breath to see what your number was...here comes the sun, a worthy track...However mine would be, never going back again! keep up the great channel.
I love all of these ❣️ I can only play part of dust in the wind. I need to go back and refresh and finish learning it completely. It is a great one! This is a great video and much appreciated! Thank you!!!
Positive Vibes always Dave! All good tunes! Can play two of them. Bon Jovi and David Gilmour but all have big time credibility. So many versions but like to hear your House of the Rising Sun and Can’t you see? Sweet Baby James too Much, much thanks
Awesome video. One of my favorites for warm ups is Tennessee whiskey that I learned from your tutorial. The solo is usually on electric guitar but I think it sounds great on acoustic.
Hi I never comment anything but you're videos are for me the most easy way to learn and I've been learning songs with your videos for years! anyway I've been trying to learn narcotic by liquido several times and I never find "satisfying" tutorials, It would be amazing if you could do a tutorial on that song! thank you again for your videos!
Good video! I'm learning "Love of my life" with your tutorial and I can say that it's my favorite song to play in the guitar by now. I have to say that I am a beginner yet (even after more than a year 😅) and it is helping me with barre chords.
Hey Dave, you are the absolute best guitar teacher! I wish you would make an extensive tutorial on how to play "Babe I’m gonna leave you". I really want to play that song. Cheers Danny
You should look at some days of the new (Travis Meeks). Theyre an absolute gold mine for acoustic rock, and just acoustic perfection. A great song to check out would be Die Born, or Days In our Lives.
A great, interesting, inspiring video! Thanks for sharing your select 8. I'm jealous of that acoustatonic! And my positive grid mini amp came defective, so I'm waiting for the replacement...ugh.
All great songs. That Cole Clark puts your Taylor to shame. Same strings?? Nothing Else Matters and maybe Layla should have been on the list. Just my opinion. I'm sure everyone that has posted a comment would have their own list as well. Great video. Keep the awesome content coming!
very cool vid and definitely a couple of songs I have to add to the list. I was hoping to see Suicide is Painless, the theme from MASH. I've always found that a beautiful riff to play and listen to.
Can you please do until i found you by stephen sanchez again with focusing more on the acoustic guitar...I would suggest watching his acoustic version with capo on 7th fret...Thanks
Hey I actually learned how to play it on the acoustic through Dave’s video. All you have to do is the studio version he explained in the video but move it down to the 7th fret. Everything is the same at that point
love this!! for your next guitar tutorial can you maybe to The 30th or TV both by Billie Eilish? Ive been trying to find a lesson and cant seem to find one I understand!
first of all, congrats for the vids, they are really great. You have a wrong note on Master of puppets bar 14, good in the tabs, wrong in your fingers, you played D on 2nd string, fret 15 instead Eb on the 11 fret first string
Would you please do a lesson on my thoughts on you by the Band Camino? You’re the only person worth asking on you tube and I can’t find a video or tab.
I was looking to get the same Cole Clark as you (angel 2 blackwood I believe it is?), would you recommend it Dave? Really looking forward for a new guitsr at Christmas
Yes. Great guitar :) sounds amazing plugged in. But go test for yourself :) that’s always the best thing to do. You might find that another guitar is more suitable for you, won’t know until you play it :)

Nancy Wilson's acoustic intro to Crazy on You.
Loved the way you gave small/fascinating facts about every song!

Great compilation, Dave!

Also the acoustic part of Pink Floyd’s “is there anybody out there” is a great piece to play
What a video, Dave! Loved everything about it - the song selection, the tabs, the playthroughs and the short stories in between. Keep it up! Would love to see more such videos :)
Thanks Prakhar
Awesome video! Really cool that you did the history of each song!

Aw that’s so awesome to hear :) keep it up!
@@GuitarZero2Hero thank you!!😁
My favorite riff is when John Mayer said “good evening.” It’s the most doable riff imo
Wow, Dave, I love this! Your playing and presentation is great of course, but having the addition of the facts about the songs is a nice extra spice!
Thanks Lee :)
I love these type of videos and i look forward to seeing more from you
Hey man, really enjoyed the storytelling!
Wow! I loved listening to you play those songs. Absolutely perfect!!
Absolutely epic Dave, great guitarist and teacher
I love the acoustasonic guitar! It looks so clean!
Here come the sun is my favorite too. I learned that song from your video. Thank you so much, Dave.
Good choices. Here Comes the Sun is absolutely quintessential acoustic guitar playing.
I have learned 8/10 of these songs from your channel. Thank you
So glad you put Tears in Heaven. That song was the reason I bought an acoustic. It was the first finger picking I learned and it's still one of my favorite songs to play still.

Opener for "master of puppets" is a great excercise for reaching bass strings! So simple and satisfying!
Great stuff - you hit all the top songs
Thanks Mark
Very cool video, I'm gonna go learn all of these now. A little surprised Fade to black didn't make it on the list but some cool picks nontheless.
beautiful songs! I definitely have to learn some of these
Awesome video. One of my favorites for warm ups is Tennessee whiskey that I learned from your tutorial. The solo is usually on electric guitar but I think it sounds great on acoustic.
Love that tune!! So relaxing 😌

Need that wanted dead or alive full tutorial! Such an awesome track!
I would love to see some city and color tutorials!
After I finished the song I'm currently practicing I'll do the Blackbird by The Beatles
A great, interesting, inspiring video! Thanks for sharing your select 8. I'm jealous of that acoustatonic! And my positive grid mini amp came defective, so I'm waiting for the replacement...ugh.
Ah sorry to hear Steve! Hope they sort that out for you ASAP :)
That dark guitar though 😍 .

Haha yeh the CC has amazing electronics onboard, unplugged I prefer the Taylor but plugged in the CC is phenomenal!
very cool vid and definitely a couple of songs I have to add to the list. I was hoping to see Suicide is Painless, the theme from MASH. I've always found that a beautiful riff to play and listen to.
What model is the Taylor on Dust in The Wind? It’s gorgeous!
Hi Dave, have you checked out the acoustic guitar song 'Citizen' by Wye Oak. quite tricky to play.
Love this style of video, get this man a knighting or something
Thanks mate
That was a great video and those songs are great. In the vein I really like Street Spirit by Radiohead. It's functionally a lot like Dust in the Wind.
I was so happy to see John Mayer on this list, but waitttt, there’s no tutorial for stop this train, yet 👀👀👀👀👀👀
Thick as a brick by Jetro Tull is epic acoustic guitar
Here to request “You’ve Got a Friend” by James Taylor! Would love a tutorial !

"Based off a reworked sample?" Haha. That's the most polite way of saying "ripped off" I've ever heard. ;-)
Well Sting makes the majority of royalties from the song so he’s not mad about it haha
Hi Dave, please do MCR - Cancer. It's very hard to find good tutorial for that song. Anyway good work!
Great video! You should definitely make a video on “Who Says” by John Mayer
How could you miss fleetwood mac man? 😅 I think big love or never coming back again deserve to be there 🙈
Love ya brooo....
Would've loved to see Romeo And Juliet by Dire Straits on this. Even though technically it's played on a steel guitar
