The F10 FINALLY Gets Low | ECS Tuning Coilover Install

- In todays video the F10 Finally gets lowered with some brand new ECS Tuning coilovers. I was lucky enough to pick these up during their Black Friday sale for about half off of the original price, so for that i was willing to give them a chance and see if they could meet my expectations, and so far... no complaints!
If you are looking for the same coilovers, i highly suggest waiting for a time where you can get the same or near the same deal as i did, for less than $500 to be able to have dampening/preload/height control is almost too good to pass up, so if you can get them for that price, id suggest giving them a try!
If you want to follow along with my build, please consider subscribing!
Check out my previous video below where i installed a new front lip and rear diffuser, as well as discovered why Ebay car parts aren't always the best choice 😅. (Link Below)

What do you think of the build quality of these ECS c/o's? They seem good enough! Any driving impressions on em or you got a vid coming for that? Thanks for the video dude! Can't wait to see what else you do to it!
So far no complaints @ all. They are definitely a bit more rough when driving through the city, but on the freeway they feel almost no different than the stock suspension. And because they have the 3 way adjustment control (height/preload/dampening), with the way i have mine setup, if feels really planted but smooth, not too jarring but stiff enough to notice, definitely need more seat time on them but so far, couldn't have asked for anymore, especially for the price i paid!
Just realized that i didnt answer the last part of your question haha, but yes i will have a video coming for that where i will go more in depth talking about them! I appreciate your support! 🙏🏻
@@Anthony_B that sounds excellent. I wonder what company makes them for ECS? lol I have M-sport electronic struts and they're still good even after 3 yrs on H&R Sport springs. I was debating buying these during black Friday.... But I have a number of mods sitting on my workbench that my wife would not have been happy lol. Gotta install what I have first before buying more.
@@Anthony_B Awesome! Looking forwards to it!
that is just amazing content bro keep up the good channel stunning work done 👌👌👌👌
I appreciate the kind words! Thank you 🤝🏼
Where did you get the carbon side diffuser extensions from? Car looks great man!
The guys name is kgsplitters on insta, he makes them for all sorts of different models!
looks clean🔥 i installed these on my e92 and maxed them out but the front isn’t nearly as low as yours. idk if i’m doing something wrong or what😂
Thank you! Yea i haven't actually seen any other platforms with them on, so i'm not sure if the adjustments are the same, but these for the F10 platform go LOW 😂
20inch rims will make it appear lower btw, if youre running smaller rims anyway
Where did you get your rear splitters from?
A company called KG Splitters 👍🏼
are these a better purchase than the bc coilovers?
I haven’t had the chance to ride in a car with those coils, but the ecs tubing coils are super solid in my opinion, I’m happy with the purchase at this point still 👍🏼
Did you get any codes going to stability control error after installing your coil overs
My car came stock without any active dampening, so when I installed coilovers, no codes were set
@@Anthony_B but do you still have comfort sport and sport+ modes to choose from with a push of a button
My car was a 2011 (first year the f10's were released in north America) so mine did not have sport/sport+ options. Not only that but my car was a manual transmission, so im not even sure the later (manual) cars had the options either
Well Done!
Thank you!
Hi there, how much did you end up lowering it? I want to lower mine a little bit, but not too much to be able to go over speed bumps and stuff, thinking 30mm
Replied to your other comment on the short, but I’d say about an inch or so 👍🏼
I'm surprised you had a good experience with these I drove on mine for about a month and sent them back the ride was very uncomfortable super busy and really harsh over rough surfaces no matter what dampening settings I used and I tried them all almost seemed like the springs and the shock valving were far off from each other If your looking for a good mix of both worlds you should get the Bilstien B12 pro kit the ride is literally amazing seems much more sporty & confidence inspiring while being stock like comfortable without feeling like a bouncy boat Bilstien performance shocks are like magic.
For what i paid for them and for how often the car gets driven, they were the perfect setup for me personally, i noted in the video that there are several much better suspension options for this platform, but for the cost, they are about as good as they get for "entry" level coilovers, at least in my opinion of course
Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Looking good!
Thanks!
did you increase the height at all? The results are way too low for me. Maybe a nicer look for my Impala but not for me on the F10.
I did after the initial install, it was much too low for me as well
Any links to the specific ones you got? Looking to get some next year for mine. Thanks!

Looks like @ this time they aren't doing the same sale as when i got them, but may at least be worth keeping them on your radar for potential purchase down the line!
What size wheels you got
The car came with 20’s when I bought it 👍🏼
@@Anthony_B what size tires you running
How does it ride?
The short answer is really good (in my opinion), but if you want to see a more in depth review, I made an entire video going over my thoughts on them! 👍🏼
Hey is it 20 inch Wheels on your F10 ?
Yes
Yep!
I put these on my e90 way stiffer over bumps and dips on the highway if you ripping anywhere around 80+ especially on i95 in the tri state
You don't have to remove front upper control arm
Yea i didn't think it was 100% necessary, but in my case it was easier to swing it out rather than fighting to get the strut out, especially considering i was doing it all on the ground. But it's good to know that its not 100% needed 👍🏻
How do you do it without removing the control arm?
