I read the comments & thought I'm not alone, but the fact is, I am. I was 58,single, mostly living alone. when I had a "massive" stroke according to the ER staff. It's not easy during 2020 or 2021 but I'm still trying. You can do it,recover. Use the Three F's. Faith,Family & Friends.

Thank you Sir, for your story. I’m so happy you have recovered to the degree that you have. My DIL had a stroke and brain surgery at 35, with 3 year old twins to care for. She had aphasia and other deficits. Today, 6 years later, she is so much better. Some issues with finding the right words, but we’re so grateful the grandkids still have their mom and my son still has his wife. Thanks for your story!

Thanks for sharing. My best friend had a stoke a couple of weeks ago, it was worrying because his Wife came home and found him on the Kitchen floor so nobody knows how long he was down for or how much damage has been done. He's out of ICU and slowly coming out of his coma, today he was able to give thumbs up to his Wife, even though his eyes are still closed, he's trying to come back to us. This video helped give me hope for his recovery. I'm stage 4 cancer, he has been my strength, calling me every few weeks (we now live on opposite sides of the pond), now I have to be strong for him.

I also had a stroke 10 years ago and lost the use of my left side. I was very athletic and fit , and my stroke onset was very similar to his. No explanation of why I had the stroke. I have also been able to make a full recovery with much rehab. The body is amazing in how it can recover. However in the back of my mind I always worry about another stroke and losing my independence.
Just got to take it one day at a time and live a healthy life

Sometimes I feel like I’m strong enough to fight this battle and other days I feel exhausted. Seeing him suffer breaks my heart 💔 thinking about my siblings breaks me more knowing that I can not afford to take care of them 🙆🏼‍♀️😭No one deserves this kind of pain and helplessness 😭😭 please pray for my family

I am a 51 year old Christian male who is recovering from a mild stroke from about 11 days ago. . Although I feel woozy and dizzy on my seat ie using a walking stick my face and speech are OK. Athletics may not be my favourite sport but American Football 🏈 is(quite unusual for a person from Northern Ireland go San Francisco 49ers). I also like Bowls(aiming at a Jack) I don't follow the most healthiest of lifestyles or diet but I DON'T smoke or drink. My faith, hobbies and of course my change of lifestyle will inspire me. Thank you Michael for your inspiration although I'm not really an Athletics fan.

Left arm is slow to make gains, but there is improvement. Dr's can't find a reason /cause for the stroke. I was strong, healthy and active. No family history of stroke. I'm 46 years old.

Im a survivor of three strokes and I also have two stents in my heart..Im 37 years old by the grace of God I'm still here, But I feel if I would have had better insurance instead of medicated, then I would be so much further along in my recovery. The reason I say this is, with medicated your limited to so much physical therapy at least I am. Not complaining, but I just need more physical therapy, a better foot brace, not repair it just replace the brace. It's been a year and two months since my last stroke and people think that I have broken my leg because the way that walk no, I have the wrong brace someone please lead me in the right direction... PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!

I used to be able to walk almost all day with rest stops.....my left arm I cam use a bit, but I'm still a bit unsteady.
I've missed out on so much but hope I can bounce back (but this was apparently a bad ischaemia) bored doing nothing than exercise in the house...

My mum is currently recovering from stroke, she’s really getting better, she’s walking and doing stuff for herself already but sometimes she acts like she doesn’t have idea of things,I don’t know if I would say she lacks understanding, how long does confusion in stroke patients last? Please I really need answer, sometimes I feel she disagrees to do something cause she’s a very stubborn person and it’s frustrating, especially when she complains about not wanting to take her medication.please anyone with this experience should reply. Thanks 🙏

Not bad at all I mean that's a full recovery but however I is important to have brand new TNKste syringe on hand and trained person that can do the injection safely to cure stroke without waiting for medical team Which is possible.

I’m months away from celebrating my 4 years of being a Massive Stoke Survivor. It’s been a challenging journey that I’m still currently on. Even though all my physical therapist say they are beyond pleased with my progression, I still feel like I’m still trying to figure things out. My walk is different, balance still off at times, I withdraw from being around large groups of people when before I was very outgoing the stroke left me with a movement disorder called Chorea in my left arm. My arm/hand moves continuously uncontrollably it only stops when I’m sleeping. Yet I’m still I am so very thankful that I survived such a traumatic experience for brain injuries are very delicate. I’m know I’m blessed & will continue to progress I’m determined to. 🦾
