For me it happened at the gym December 4 2019 got out March 13 of 2020 I remember nothing I was induced coma removed a piece of my skull and had a shunt placed in my brain it’s been more than 4 years the fact that it happened at the age of 19 I believe has helped me with my recovery along with with muscle memory as I was a person who tried to eat clean and stay fit. I agree life is different, but there is life after a Stroke honestly keep on moving and repitition and a lot of hard work is what will help with recovery
Great recovery. My mother suffered multiple strokes, the first one she was 47. I was 15 at the time. My father had one 2 years later and recovered. My mother unfortunately, suffered the worst of it. After becoming permanently disabled and the onset of dementia in her early 50s, my father left us. I left college to be her care taker alongside my sister. We didn't have money for help and there wasn't much that could be done. She entered a nursing home by the age of 58. My mother was an RN for 25 prior to her stroke. Wish I could take her place and bring her home everyday. Every second counts.
I was going through a brain surgery and suffered a stroke during the surgery, I woke up from surgery unable to move the left side of my body and lost half my eyesight, after 2months in the hospital i began to walk and was able to return to my senior year walking free and passing, I’ve been through pt for 3 years as of right now, god is great and does stuff in mysterious ways and only to the best of us, sending prayers to u guys!

Thank you for sharing your story, I had a stroke on the 6th of December 2020 missed out on Xmas with my kids😢. I came out of hospital august 12 2021 now doing rehab at home still recovering and getting stronger on my legs. My left arm got a lot of work to do. With this pandemic I was denied the opportunity to do rehab at my community centre but I'm fighting to get my life back for my kids. I got told by the doctor from the rehab next 3 to 6 months if I don't progress I will probably be like this for the rest of my life 🤦but I'm going to prove him wrong. I'm going to work hard and pray to God he will get me and my family through this.hope you're better from your stroke be strong and God bless you🙏🙏🙏

During the middle 2020 my mom was complaining about a very painful migraine so she asked my grandma to come pick me up from her so I wouldn't worry after I left she was lying on the floor unable to get up and was vomiting every where so she called her boyfriend at the time and then he called hatzolah(ambulance) where she was rushed to the hospital they did a MRI on her and she had brain bleeds which caused her to go into a coma and while they were in the middle of operation she shot a clot to her brain causing a stroke(right and middle). All she wanted to do was survive for me even if she was in a coma. About 3 weeks later she woke up from the coma and the doctor told her she couldnt walk. she didn't believe and as soon as she tried to get up she vommited. About 2 or so weeks later she came home where a lot of nurses came and Occupational therapists etc. About last year September she started biokenetics and as of now she can look left and right she can't look up and down she can drive she can't swim she can't move fast she can walk on her own it takes her like maybe 3 minutes to get out of bed since she has to get her balance back but that's what happened. That is actually shocking. They should straight way do CT scan to find out is bleed or infrack. Honestly shocking. Powerful USA and they cannot do CT scan in emergency situation. If they will do that they will safe her from disability and long months in rehab.
"It was the scariest moment" I bet it was not as scary as the extremely huge costs she/they will have to pay rest of her/their lives because the US medical care is so decrepit..
I survived my hemoragic stroke as well... Life has changed for me but I am grateful.
How long you got treated after the first symptom appeared?

That is actually shocking. They should straight way do CT scan to find out is bleed or infrack. Honestly shocking. Powerful USA and they cannot do CT scan in emergency situation. If they will do that they will safe her from disability and long months in rehab.
What a luxury, an emergency vehicle in America
i look for help, a stroke victim, no money.
Wow it sounds like the doctors made the right decision not to do surgery
Dalam nama Yesus sembuhkan kami dari penyakit stroke iniTuhan😇
"It was the scariest moment" I bet it was not as scary as the extremely huge costs she/they will have to pay rest of her/their lives because the US medical care is so decrepit..
hey jessica, i wonder if your brain is recovered now as 100 percent?
