you guys need to understand that sometimes repetition is purposeful... like... do you think that Will didn't realize when he was writing it that he repeated the titular phrase quite often?? it's pretty clear lmao. for me this repetition just emphasizes this kind of manic and circular thought process. the only thing they're thinking about is STOP LYING TO ME. i feel like that's kind of the point....

Naked Giants really added their twang in this and I love it. These two bands make great music together. The lyrics shouldn't have been a problem with ppl smh my head
