the members of the band look like parts of a late 80s high school road trip movie.
You got the Jock on Drums, delinquent on percussion, nerd on guitar, stoner on rhythm, with his surfer mate on synth, emo kid vocalist, and draco malfoy on bass.

This live groups reminds me a lot of late Talking Heads. They expanded the band with extra drums and synths, plus Will isn't playing guitar anymore so he can do his weird dances.
so exciting to see this band evolve over time
they added on Naked Giants because theyre touring together. Its a great blend
I just saw them in Detroit and I thought myself Will reminded me of David Byrne

His voice has this disaffected boredom to it that reminds me of a young Julian Casablancas, which really rocks with the type of music these guys put out. New fan!

That Sober to Death/Powderfinger/Don't You Worry Bout a Thing medley has no business being this good wtf. Definitely one of my most favourite live performances ever, the other tracks are amazing as well, but that is pure magic

i love andrew and will’s chemistry in literally every way
these guys absolutely rock live. you havent lived til youve heard drugs with friends while smoking a blunt 5 feet from will.
I saw them live at a music festival a couple weeks ago, and sadly they didn't play drugs with friends but they made up for it with the best possible live performance of Bodys. Definitely one of, if not the best live concert i've ever been to! If I had stayed in the mosh pits at the front I probably would've died. Never seen so many people per square feet in my life

It's cool that when they were touring with the dudes from Naked Giants, they just fused into one mega band
This band's deceptive (and that's a good thing). They've got the beat, the catchy lyrics, the melodic riffs, but that's just for starters. It's the layers, the complexity, the twists and turns, the total command of their craft that ultimately blows you away.

I started crying during sober to death because I love that song and it continues to be my favorite from twin fantasy from when he first released it to when the whole bands preforms it connects with me and makes me feel loved
The best part about this isn't just the music performance audio, but the sheer fun they are having when preforming. It adds so much to the energy of the performance.

also why are they all so cute, they weren't afraid to let some of their personalities shine throughout the video!
The addition of Naked Giants makes this performance so much more energetic than the last KEXP performance they did, it’s great!
Emily still loved Connect the Dots from the last performance though. It was such a highlight for me

Naked Giants supported and played with them on the EU tour and they were awesome. I met Grant (the guitarist) after the show, super down to earth guy. Definitely worth checking them out.

They were touring with Naked Giants which is why they’re playing with them but they recorded Making a Door Less Open with only the normal members :(
