    I did non accounting degree and I'm glad I did my research as early as possible last year. This year I'm doing advanced certificate in accounting science ( equivalent to second year bcompt)so that I can qualify for BCTA then CTA.

    Doing my second year bcompt in financial accounting really need a mentor,am doing great but I need more knowledge more especially when it comes to articles cause I want to option for that 5 year article contract

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  ปีที่แล้ว

      Try find a mentor that has completed the 5 year articles route. That way they will understand your path more and add value. All the best!

    Hi Mrs tile,I stumbled across your channel and absolutely love your content thank you so much for this informative video,I am currently doing my bcom accounting at regent business school however the bcom accounting degree isnt accredited they do have a pgda access program which we need to do in order to go into cta which is saica accredited at regent however im just abit concerned and dont know if big 4 firms and banks would accept me because when i look at saica accredited bridging programs the bridging program into cta that regent offers isnt there however upon completion of it u can go into cta as well as write itc and stuff but im just scared and dont know if i made the right decision choosing this institution what would you recommend or what advice would you give to an individual like me?

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not familiar with the Regents route and I don't have any CA in my network that studied there including those I work with. An institute that I know has a good bridging course to CTA is Unisa. And big 4 Acvounting firms do take Unisa students for articles.

      You can. UJ and Unisa has one year conversion courses after which you can do your CA accounting honors the following year. Do look into thee. All the best 😊😊🙏

    I see Milpark is also SAICA accredited, does it matter about the institution you use or as long as the institution is SAICA accredited you are safe?

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Private colleges are not the preferred route for CA option in SA. With that said, if you confirm they are accredited and you are comfortable, go for it!

      Get the saica accredited list it has certain modules that are accredited for CA not all courses are recognized by saica
