Those stroker models are so beastly. Everyone who thinks they have a pair needs to throw a leg over one and ride it like it's supposed to be ridden - AKA above 9500rpm. Nothing can describe all that smooth torque. It's really a fantastic bike.

The 1000s of today are definitely making more hp but people seem to forget. The 2nd gen busa which this bike is came out in 2008. The bike has not changed in 12 years while everyone else was making progress and moving the bar higher and higher...

Brocks petron oil treat 15k on motor New iridium plugs ngk Tire half wore out lighter. Chain was Heavy Lubed 80° temperature 70% humid Sea level Chain not tight Evac mod done. Stock clutch springs. Need HD springs. thing wheelies like a unicycle 👍 Chain worn . lose. Pry open rear brake pads to create less drag. Hope this helps Busa is very heavy and they're running on Old technology

I am still curious why all of these bike guys use MR12? It's a leaded fuel. There are options out there with higher octane rating that are not leaded. O2's and catalytic converters do not mix well with leaded fuel. I stick with pump 93 in my s1krr, if I get a tune for race fuel it will be sunco 260gt. Maybe some can explain the advantage of mr12 over a unleaded oxygenated race fuel. Since these are new bikes, built for unleaded fuel. Please don't use the argument that the lead helps protect valves or other parts.

Just got my 2017 hayabusa flashed and all I have is the delkevic full exhaust and went up 11 hp from 163 to 174hp on the dyno so question is spend 500 for full delkevic exhaust or 1500 for brocks for only 6 more hp. Wish I would of had the money for the brocks

What's good bro, the 1st question I have is what part of the USA ( I'M IN NEW ORLEANS) or you doing this dyno test, the reason I'm asking this question is because I have a 2017 busa with all the same upgrades as this one, minus the quick shifter, and instead of the power commander I have a powertronic air/fuel ratio upgrade and I'm struggling to get to 180 bwhp. I'm stuck at 177, completely stock I was 168. What do you think I need to do to get to the 210 bwhp mark or at least 205? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hi have a bazzzaz quickshifter on my busa. And it doesn't shift as smooth as this busa. Sometimes it goes into neutral. Dont know if it bazzaz product or gear lever issue. Can someone give input. I have the following setting •Sensitivity is at factory setting 50/50 •Killtime is set 1st= 65ms. 2nd =65ms 3rd=60 4th=60 5th =60 6th=60

QUESTION. Can you get a honest pass when not sitting on the BIKE, versus sitting on the Bike. If a person is 250LBS the Bike will be slow. If the person is 150LBS the Bike will be faster. My point is it best to sit on the Bike, or stand beside it testing? I ask because I saw you do it both WAYS???!!! Which is more accurate?
Few years more development, the busa has the edge on torque and its gearing isn't as extreme, the busa will run out to 200 if you drop a tooth on the rear, the gixxer thou isn't able to hang there. The busa is at its core a sports tourer, its the Grand Tourer where the gixxer thou is a supercar. The busa you can do 700miles in a day and get off at the end and just stretch, knowing you will be doing the same tomorrow. The gsx1000, you'd need to be winched off.

They aren't making that massive torque of the busa though. That's the difference.

Each dyno reads different. Tire choice can throw numbers off as well.
I would care about total power gained. Not "peak"

It would be 180bhp at the back wheel, my mate has a ZX12R A1 with all the trimmings and my 08 Busa still out pulls it every day of the week

Mr12 was good for over 8 whp on my s1000rr.

It is actually a suction. It gets the o2 sensor a better reading for the dyno.

The straps on the swingarm are what's holding the tire. I had a chain break and almost hit me one time as to why i don't sit on them.

The busa is at its core a sports tourer, its the Grand Tourer where the gixxer thou is a supercar. The busa you can do 700miles in a day and get off at the end and just stretch, knowing you will be doing the same tomorrow. The gsx1000, you'd need to be winched off.
