    a fun little tip! to make it easier to animate, instead of setting up keyframes for the speeder bike you could use a curve to animate it on a path which makes it get more of a curve but this looks great regardless!

      yeah paths were an option I was considering for animating it .thanks

    Bro you literally explained it better than half the youtubers out there, i really hard time with motion tracking and TH-cam videos with 10x more views than your didn't explained that well, thanks man

      A tip: watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.

    Nice tutorial!
    Instead of manually adding more trackers, you can move forward in the time line where most of your trackers fall off then Detect more features.
    Also, you can parent a mask to a tracker to automate most of the masks for things like the sign, tree, etc.
    So you don't have to edit the mask location every frame.
    Just helps speed things up and isn't so tedious.

    how do you managed to hide the road (plane) to not show up when rendering ? great video btw

    • @benjigeezer
      @benjigeezer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I want the shadow to be seen but not the plane

    • @bswm1830
      @bswm1830  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's very simple all you have to do is click on the road plane, then go to the objects panel which is on the far right side of the screen and it's an orange box with orange right angles on the corners, and then scroll down to visibility and in there you should see something called shadow catcher, check mark that and then when you render it out you will only see the shadow and not the plane. good luck 👍

    Good tutorial and usefull ! You are a good teacher, thank you. But i have to say that Blender is not easy in video mask compositing... for God's shake someone need to put so many nodes and parameters just to mask 3 trees.. add node, click here, invert node, connect nodes, add another node etc etc.... in After Effects with or without Mocha plug in, this process is just less than a 60 sec.

    Hi is a long long time that i search some tutorials about masking, i have tried this, but with Blender 2.92 seems not to work, the mask that i have created like in your tutorial, not hide the object that i want to hide.. i have a movie with a wall and from behind the wall a dinosaur comes out, but as already said the mask does not hide the dinosaur, ... I don't know if it's a problem with blender 2.92, or here you have to set other parameters to make it work ... however the tutorial is beautiful..thanks a lot

      Have you selected the mask in the mask node? Sometimes i forget to do that and wonder why it's not working

      @@bswm1830 Hi yes, i have selected it, with their name, mask01, but nothing....

    i have a different problem if you can help , please .. somehow it manages to only render the animation and not the footage in the background .. it is something i disabled ? thanks man

    • @bswm1830
      @bswm1830  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you might have disabled something but if copy the node setup that I have at the end of the video you should be able to get it to work. If you copy the node setup and it's still not working reply and i'll send a more in depth answer

    • @benjigeezer
      @benjigeezer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      maybe it has something to do with a blender error ? i did it again .. now it only renders the video animation in the background as image sequences but no 3D added blend

    • @benjigeezer
      @benjigeezer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      in visibility it is checked the "show in render" option

    • @benjigeezer
      @benjigeezer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the Sequencer box is checked that takes priority over the 3D scene render... Uncheck Sequencer and you will be able to render the scene. i think this solves the model rendering

    • @benjigeezer
      @benjigeezer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      also .. under scene render properties .. udner Film .. .after I checked Transparent box ... it now started to render both images and 3d animation at the same time .. is this a final fix ? have you heard about it ? thank you so much for everything anyways
