    I think they're taught when u get injured weather it's a leg injury or not to sit down so they can get a sub in it's smart

    5:02 Bill, I kinda felt the same as it was happening live but after the news came out that Currie bought out of game in the middle of the week I see exactly why Lane was doing it. These new clock rules suck anyways….

    Was Harris having to go to the locker room flopping? Was Ivey spraining his ankle flopping? The point is ... when is it flopping, and when is it not? How do you know for 100% sure? I think Steven is correct ... the easier than normal Spring and Fall practices might be partially to blame for many of the injuries. Other teams get "injuries" when our attack is fast-paced and i dont complain because i do not know for sure whether its fake or real. Its part of the game, just like having visually challenged referees.

    We've all seen the injury game before. It's obvious that it's done in poor taste, but it's not illegal. It gives the staff to talk about what they're doing who they're trying to get the ball to etc what personnel you wanna match up all that. It absolutely benefits the defense. I don't think anyone believes all of those were actual injuries especially when they took one play out and came right back in but until there's a rule like losing time outs etc. It's going to keep happening.

    Couple of things bout Ole Miss seem suspect for me(against real SEC-quality opponents) : 1) secondary is suspect 2) ability to power run 3) pass-protection .. is this secondary going to be able to contain Manning, Beck, or Milroe? Not convinced as of now.. .. Parrish has gaping holes to run through, but not proven against an SEC D-front .. Dart is connecting easily given all the time in the pocket, this is not going to be allowed by a quality SEC defense, he's not going to get the pocket time with blitzes coming from all over.

    I know this is not the topic tonight but I wish Coach Lane would put the Florida thing to rest if indeed he is not leaving before it creeps in the teams mind

    • @jakemitchell1671
      @jakemitchell1671 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why would he "put the Florida thing to rest" when it's not even a thing? No offers have been made, and why would Lane destroy any opportunity before he even knows what the opportunity might be? For all anyone knows Florida may offer him $15 million a year. I don't know what you do for a living but I'm sure you wouldn't put out a memo to possible employers that you wouldn't entertain any offers, no matter how lucrative. Everyone just needs to relax and let what's going to happen to happen.

      @jakemitchell1671 FL doesn't have that kind of money to throw at a coach right now, and they know it, they already gonna have to pay out 58 mil for Napier's buyout and then pay Kiffin's buyout, plus 15 mil a year???, they don't have it, not to mention FL is a dumpster fire where careers go to die, Kiffin has everything the way he wants it at OM and he's a king in Oxford, he ain't leaving to come fix somebody else's mess.

    I can't really blame Wake for buying out next years game. In a 12 team playoff era, its about getting to the playoffs, so teams want the easiest ooc games possible. No different than Ole Miss and USC agreeing to drop their home and home that was scheduled.

    • @jakemitchell1671

      Sorry, but it was in very poor taste. And to announce it prior to the game starting was ridiculous. WF embarrassed themselves with this move.

      @@bradenwray825 It most certainly was a mutual agreement. Neither school wanted to play a marquee non conference game in this new cfb landscape. If it was only USC wanting out, they would have to pay a buyout, which they did not. Ole Miss AD Keith Carter even went on record confirming as such.

      @@bradenwray825 Not true at all. Both teams agreed because neither team wanted to risk a loss in an ooc game. If Ole Miss truly wanted to play them, they would not have agreed to cancel and would have forced a buyout. As I stated, Keith Carter himself stated as such.
