  • This video gives a brief update on lambs and ewes in the barn, and also shows our sheep being pastured.
It was also time to take a look at our rams who will soon have some work to do and one of the most important parts is making sure their feet are good. So we show the basic practice of hoof trimming.
Jeff also gives an update on our soybean crop and how they are doing, and how we deal with weeds when you aren't allowed to spray them. Row crop cultivating is probably the most common way of doing this which is demonstrated in this video. All part of being an organic farmer...no one said it would be easy.

Thanks for the update on crops and flocks. It''s wet here too in Western New York. We needed rain but not quite this much. That's farming though. God Bless you and your family farm.

I always enjoy your videos. I noticed 2 or 3 large tears in the canvas on the building. These set up draft situations that can cause pneumonia and diarrhea. I encourage repairs to prevent potential health problems
I look forward to your reports

Hello, thanks for taking part in my channel and watching our content. Yes, I agree we need to be careful for drafts. For the most part there is usually plenty of space in each pen that allows for draft free areas. I know I need to fix a few things. It's like so many things, just getting around to doing them is always a challenge.😏

Yea, actually you're right. I got to the end of the row and realized that. I haven't done this before, but it really helped alot.
