Nice idea in the drilling baffles! I wana do the same for my 2020 sportster 48. I want to alsonuse an extender with a 1 inch drill saw and make a hole in the baffle. Question bro .... did u lose back pressure or lose any performance with this easy/cheap mod? Have you had any issues in the 1 year or you would recommend this for others? Thanks a mil !
No issues. I would also get the fuelpak or other tuner though. Just to be sure you can adjust fuel trims More flow usually means lean air fuel mix which is not good for the motor long term. But just drilling the baffles didnt do a whole lot (you could also just take them out by removing the bolt on the underside but i would not without a tuner).

QUESTION: Did you buy these with the black tips already on them? Can you say what they cost and where you purchased? I've looked around everywhere. I cannot find them with the black tips already on. Thank you for your video with great sound and the time should you decide to reply...
They came with the black tips from Revzilla.com around 300 bucks i think.
OK thanks. They don't sell them like that anymore. You have to buy the tips separate for $60. I ended up going with V&H twin slash 3" slip-ons even tho I really wanted those. Bad marketing to make the tips separate. Thanks man... I'm already wanting something louder anyways. Looking at the big radius or short shots with the keyhole mod.
Nice sound for slipon's... Are you glad you picked those? I've been looking around and I can't find the mufflers with the black tips already installed. Where did you find those? Love that deep sound. How do you think about them now?

oh was going to ask. mine has a baffle you can remove. does yours. I have not removed it to see how it sounds yet.
Question how did you put those on with the crossover pipe on the bottom?
Nice deep sound, i would like to ask to things? Did u calibrate the ecm and did you notice a change in fuel consumption?
I got the FuelPak FP3 by Vance and Hines and no, fuel consumption remained the same as far as i can tell.
Sound similar to my Cobra RPT. Nice sound!

So I rode today with the new slip ons, man they are loud like my buddies short shots. Do they quieter after like a break in period?
Half Dog nope I have a couple thousand miles on mine and they just get a little bit louder as they break in I think they are perfect they only hurt my ears whenever I'm not wearing earplugs and at close to Full Throttle

I to could not get the bolts that came with mine to fit either. I called bassani and told them and even mentioned you had the same problem. they said "that is the first they had heard". ugggggh. sort of irritating they would not keep up with their product on social media. any way I did the same thing you did with the washers. I like the product but the support was sort of bad. they person I talked to was talking to me like I was the problem. shesssh oh well.
Robert Lumsden yea. For the price I’ll take shitty customer service I guess. I do have baffles but I think it would sound cheap and “tinney “ without them.
And now what about a vlog with the new exhaust ? 😬 by the way Good choice
