1. I saw some Militado watches personally, and I have never seen any bad quality. For the price, I would say they are perfect quality watches. 2. This new ML08 looks very much like the ML05, but having shorter lug to lug size, distance (44,5mm vs 47,5mm, factory claims), which is good for those guys who have smaller wrists (I have 16cm/6,3"). 3. The strap is the thing where Militado and other "bang for the buck" watch companies (Rdunae is my other favorite) cut the costs, these straps are usually very rough and irritating the skin. And this is the right thing as you can change your strap for whatever you wisht to. You can get a nice leather strap, a nice soft NATO, or whatever, and they are using standard 20mm and 18mm lug distance / strap width, so findig any straps is not a challenge. Better cut cost on the strap than on the watch itself. 4. Seiko VH31 rated +-15seconds/month... that is a big LOL. This is only a very wide range factory tolerance. I had a VH31 movement watch (Addiesdive 2023, the Rolex Explorer homage) and had the difference +1second/month. I never ever had or seen any quartz watches - including digital display Casios - which were "late", all were running "early". That's the better case. My worst difference was about +16seconds/month, with a Casio W800, which has a 10years battery life on paper, but mine is running 13+ years on the very same factory installed battery (okay, that has a 2025 size battery, but still very decent IMHO). +1 thought: That's a shame that Militado discontinued the ML02. The style was very much the same as the ML05, or the much later ML08, but with 36mm of case width and about 43mm of lug to lug distance. That model could be a "dial monster" as well, for smaller wrist guys, or even for girls. I wish they would bring back that model with all of these dials they put in the ML05 and ML08 models.
I have this piece for more than a month and it's really well made, even on macro level. I think the crystal and it's AR are really great though. My biggest complain is the lume but this is tax we have to pay for fauxpatina. Strap is just rubbish but as you pointed out this is a real strap monster.
I found the crystal very dull compared to my Baltany watches so much so I sold it on. Shame as the size was perfect. Baltany have just released a pilot with very strong murph vibes …I believe it is a homage of a Hamilton pilot watch.
The Militado ML08 is quite well executed. I do not really mind the unbranded crown in fact I prefer it, since in matches the anonymous dial. The Broad Arrow is also a nice touch. The Seiko Smooth Sweep Quartz Movement is a nice touch, like you mentioned it is the best of both worlds. Field Watches like Fliegers have the same design language so the when you are paying more for one you are actually paying for the Brand on the dial.
Just ordered, thank you for an awesome review!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
@HoroHigh369 Thank you for watching! 🙂👍
I really like what Miltado is doing and this “murph” is no exception.

Looks great, with decent lume too, I wish I had waited before buying a red dial Tandorio Murph copy.

Maybe just a lack of AR coating causing too many reflections.
Kindly also review SEIKO SPB 543❤😊
I paid $45 for mine on Watchdives? I bought the Khaki White, Khaki Black and the Murph. They were all $45 ?
Terrific but hope they do a broadarrow-less dial. It really does not mesh.
lol I just checked some AliExpress stores and the questions were all please version without arrow or variations thereof.
nice watch. can you post link to that leather strap?
Does come with automatic?
I wish it comes out in bronze and without logo ♥️👍
1:26 FREE WATCH ALARM 🎉🎉
to be fair i like this more than the hamilton? call me weird but dang this looks like a military watch compared to the hamilton..
I agree with you. I had the Hamilton and sold it due to no AR coating.

Their mechanical Murph is even closer to the Hamilton original.
The Interstellar watch was to big. So they homaged it themselves.
Sold out on Ali Ex
The hands and indices are badly mismatched
Wow!! First
I got the ML05 a few weeks back $45 USD 👀 insane price.
NO, THANKS!!
