Great video Sam - Fergie said in his autobiography that towards end of his reign only real player punishment was to drop players from games - but modern celebrity footballers not bothered sitting on bench or in stands - bit like a teenager being banished to their rooms - take their devices away different story but can’t do that can we 😂 Nothing like a bit of Red Mist shows he cares 🔥📺👍

One of the guys at my work is Portuguese, he’s said from the beginning he doesn’t pull no punches. Especially with the press so I’m not surprised that Amorim has a temper, which I think is a good thing.
United players need to understand the expectations and the level of demanded of them. If they can’t meet those expectations they should be sold, that goes for any player in the club.

Toughest period in my 30 years of supporting United. It's more apparent than ever how rotten and behind we are as a club. I like what amorim is doing with hes no nonsense attitude, but we've got a long way to go. All those years wasted on players like rashford , shaw, etc. seem numbered..

Ole was building a very good, united, hard working and modest team until Ronaldo came in and upset the politics and emotion. If Ole fulfilled his promise to Dean Henderson and kept the hard working Cavani as the main centre forward around Bruno, Greenwood, James and a still then effective Rashford...we would have gone on stronger since finishing second in Ole's penultimate season and having a strong start. I always wondered how things would work out if CR7 never returned. We were once top of the table and unbeaten at home in that preceding season

i dont have any weight at all on this since im not a man utd fan altho i do like the club since its an historical club like my Benfica , but ill say with or without ronaldo you would have ended up on the same spot , it was never a one player problem , or any player problem at all , it was a structure problem that let those player problems arise. ManUtd would still spend tons of money on flashy players to sell tickets and shirts and not put the football team sucess first but accounts first. Amorim is now working and will very probably be sucessfull on reviving the club , but that could only happen after your structure changed hands and mindset to put football team sucess first for a change. Them letting Amorim be picky with players who stay and leave is a proof of that. TLDR it wasnt Ronaldo at all , he just highlited what was wrong and decided to go.

I don't care how long it will take before we find our footing. Amorim is the way to go. Our problem is cultural. Once that is addressed, it will automatically transform into results. When you look at every united player and remember their best games individually, you quickly realize just how much this squad can play if they were really up to it. Amorim is the only person that can motivate them with the right balance of inspiration and confrontation needed to handle modern day player. An he will replace those who refuse to bend the knee with less recognized players who are excellent system players. Ruben Amorim has my backing, 100%. There has been talk of a complete reset at Utd. Things are that bad at our club I'm beginning to firmly believe that relegation would do us the world of good.
A complete shock to the system. Get rid of the whole team barring a couple and let Amorim rebuild this shattered club from a lower division. I have no doubt we will bounce back quickly and be great once again.

My honest opinion , ManUtd fans seem eager to see results and we can see why , but i also think the fans can see that the previous years bad choices are now taking its toll , its ofc hard to deal with this low , but the club itself is showing the correct signs to turn this around , changed ownership , changed mentality to put sucess of the team before the € , hired a decent coach that already revived one club recently , let him do his thing , sack and hire who he wants without spending billions and keep him as manager despite that. TLDR give it so time yall , if yall keep pressing and decide not to take the toll now u will always get it later. The sooner the club is back the better! Salute from Portugal Benfica fan :D

Great Video Sam! And i think how Amorim handles the Players is the Future for United! I 100% back him and what he is doing cause there is obvious Change already and i think he will be the one who brings us back multiple PL Titles once we have a Squad that fits him! We need a Rebuild and i think that´s what INEOS are planning for the Summer as well!

Excellent video Sam. Great analysis of past manager's leadership styles and Amorim's modern approach. A real mixture of carrot and stick, relating to players but retaining the necessary distance to maintain his authority. Back Amorim 100+% or we will languish in mediocrity for another 10+ years

I can't help it, but I'm still not convinced about Amorim. Regardless of the results. Even if we would have won 6 matches more the oast two months. I'm not saying Ten Hag should have stayed, I'm just not digging it with Amorim.

    Interesting vid.
Now we have removed many of the players who had a stranglehold over dressing room morale (just 3 left on the payroll anyway) and also could affect information coming out that undermined the managers, we are starting to see a group of players forming more as a unit.
Amorim is the perfect manager for this new dawn.
Like Fergie was the perfect manager at that perfect time, I believe Amorim is the same. Stars aligning again finally.

Amorim has made mistakes and he will make more, till he finds the right balance.Remember,Sir Alex took four years to win a trophy.
Perhaps he tried to change things from the start, which in my opinion is the wrong approach. On saying that I don’t believe that the system doesn’t suit certain players.Footballers should be able to follow instructions, and totally concentrate on their job for the duration of the game….which is not 6/8 hours of people who do other jobs.
How did Ollie managed to win the first 10 games?
