This is what happens when a person who is way too much into Myst starts reading about the Heavens Gate cult. Looks very interesting. I think I will play it during Xmas.
I would buy this in a heartbeat if it was available for Mac. Edit: although the Steam page lists it as a Windows game, the website linked there says it’s also coming to Mac! I am STOKED for this game. Everything from the aesthetics to the atmosphere look amazing. Finally a game which celebrates the raw beauty of jaggies and low-poly 3D while taking on the role of a non-conformist indie. So many “indies” are the same nowadays, this game looks like it could be a real indie. I can’t wait.
Thank you for the kind words! I do plan on bringing Sagebrush to Mac but it might be a little delayed. There are some Mac only bugs I'll need to sort out.
@@ludodrome6110 It’s been four years since I commented here but I still regularly play Sagebrush! Couple weeks ago I bought a Switch, and purchased Sagebrush on it. Now I can take it wherever I go!! I still love this game, probably always will.
The look reminds me of MYST, OG Alone in the Dark, D, and PS1 Clock Tower. Seems neat, i'll have to check it out! :) How much will it cost, if you are able to tell us?
Cool! You've got yourself a sale! :) Congrats on making a game! :) Love your videos btw, they're really well done. I think the myst one is my favorite, but they're all great.
Love this type of visual style it's like a beautiful mirage.
So this is why you have been away for so long...can't wait to play it
I can’t stop watching this trailer. It’s bizarre. No other game or trailer has hooked me so badly. I’m telling everyone I know about it.
first glance: better looking dusk + gone home gameplay

If I don't get locked into place while a door opens my immersion will be ruined

Ludodrome no matter the delay, I’ll buy it the day it releases. Even if I have to wait years, the game in this trailer looks more than worth the wait.
Well, good news! I was able to fix the graphical issues with the Mac build of the game, so the plan is to release on both PC and Mac from Day 1.
Ludodrome NICE! I’ll be buying it day 1, can’t wait.

It's a relatively small game, so the price will be $6.99, probably with small launch discount.

Ludodrome $6.99!!!! You could charge $50 just for the trailer and I’d buy it.
I guarantee this channel would grow a LOT if you did more frequent "history of" videos. Even if only once per month.
I agree
Good game
Looks like the game opened in the wrong resolution on lowest graphics setting.
Brotherhood of Conquest it’s intended. Lo-fi glory.
is it supposed to look like a ps1 game?
Wow. It s dark
anti aliasing
Uh what's dis?
Horrible Anti-Anialising tho.
Unless the jaggies are intentional. Feels like the game is supposed to evoke them old PS1 titles.

I don't know if you're being unironic or not.
If it's intentional I'm not sure it's a good design choice. All the shimmering takes the focus from the rest of what you see.
It describes itself as “low-fi” on the steam page so I think it’s intentional. I kinda like it. Most of the games I play are of the era of jaggies.
