Went for a 20 mile ride last weekend with the guys and it boosted all of our morals. No better way to social distance then be in the middle of the woods on a bike
@@medicatedflowers821 same down here in NZ. state of emergency too so cops got extra powers to screw ya over if ya get caught. I gotta transport my bike on a ute to go riding so outta luck really. Fuck off CV-19!
I brought up this video, looked at the length and said to myself "I'll watch it for a little bit, but there's NO WAY I'm watching this for an hour and 25 minutes. You sure proved me wrong! This was so captivating and interesting , all I can do is echo your "WOW!"
This is great! With what my son and I have been through recently it’s been so good for us to be out on our bikes. When we are out ripping down the trails, it all goes away and we both come rolling back into the house excited and happy and just stoked. This sport came along at exactly the right time for us and has been so therapeutic. Kyle, your videos and your station are awesome!
My comment is a little late, watching this video 8 months after you posted it. Great clip, loved it. I am a father of two adult sons who have been into dirt bike riding. We are all serving members in the Australian Army, and enjoy riding dirt bikes as a hobby and great stress relief. We have experienced some incidents, broken bones in locations out of range of communication services and a long way from emergency services. At the 1:01 point in your video, Dr Domenick talks about the trust you need to have in those you ride with. I absolutely agree. Very similar to military service, when things go wrong you need to trust the people around you to make good decisions and help out. Just so happens that we often refer to drills in the military as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), normally the first SOP is 101. Good timing Dr Domenick.
I think about this stuff a lot. Whenever I start to act like an ass with my loved ones, I go for a ride and come back restored and chill. So happy I got into dirt bikes, riding is a huge part of making my life healthier and better.
Bought my tpi a couple of months ago and haven’t been able to ride it yet. But it’s keeping me going through this lockdown , and you guys are helping a huge amount in inspiring me. I’ve learnt a lot from your channel to , keep up the good work ! I love watching you all riding trails , it’s a bit different in the uk but the bikes bring us all together. Stay safe guys
Kyle - this is fantastic! Incredible guest. I was originally just going to listen for 15 or 20 minutes, but I'm doing the whole thing now! I agree with 100% of Doc's points.
Hey Kyle I just wanted to say thanks for making this video this is really awesome. I may joke around and bust chop sometimes remember it's very hard to convey how you truly feel, your tone of voice, and your actual intent, on a text. But I think this is awesome this is a really good video and really inspiring. God bless you brother
Just seeing this. Great addition Kyle. This really justifies and validates the energy we get from a hard ride. I'm 59, every ride I weigh what could happen on this ride to the benefit I get from the ride. I know it's possible I could go down hard enough that it takes riding out of my life, but it's worth the risk for me. But I come from a 32 yr military background, and I suppose a part of me misses the mental and physical challenges.
Wow! Great video! I was a little annoyed when I saw that it was an hour and a half long at first when it started , but Wow! When I really started listening and being in the moment, it was great information! I was surprised too, that I stayed to the bitter end. Hehe Excellent work here, Kyle!!
Great video, I miss my dirtbike. I will see and ride it in 3 months after this virus stuff. I have dreams about the trails Ive ridden on. Love you KTM 350 exc
I had a crash last week getting towed and got a little trash I walking around like a 90 old man bent over with a bad back but once I jump on the bike I’m up and standing and riding crazy lol
I agree partially but there's a big difference to dirt bike ruts changing over a day then the track gets groomed multiple times a week. the trails I ride there might be a new rut from a tractor around the corner, a tree that fell, the land just eroding away. if you push yourself both trail and motocross take the same amount of focus which puts you in that zone they were talking about.
@@dv8214 yeah a mx track may not change that much but you are also going a lot faster usually. Definitely in the zone where it's all you are.thinking about tho.
I would think mountain biking has similar and different positive mental effects, just pound the trail and you will be feeling the endorphins of connecting with nature and feeling like a kid again!
I loved this. Riding dirt bikes and talking about riding dirt bikes makes me very happy

At age 55, I bought by first dirt bike in over 40 years in Feb 2020. I'm now riding 2-3 times a week in East Tennessee and loving it.
Are there a lot of trails in East Tennessee? Can you ride year-round.
This video totally nailed it.
So awesome I’m watching now

This is so true, builds so much confidence and resilience and having buddys edge you on to overcome obstacles and climbs.Let alone great fitness.

I am looking forward to buy enduro dirt bike and listening this just confirms and makes me want it more! Thanks a lot!
There is nothing like riding a dirt bike there is no feeling better we all need it 👍
Just what I needed to hear at the moment as I struggle with life. Booked in for a ride with my buddies to help me reset.

Ride on. Confirms what we already know. But it helps others understand why I do what I do.
Incredible content. Just so spot on!

Great Stuff as Usual. It's very hard for people who don't ride to understand all of the things we get from it.

Great episode, thanks for doing this one! Really nailed it on every point
There's something about the danger level with dirt bikes & mountain bikes (& even street bikes) which I think is emotionally & mentally stimulating.
Hey Dr. Dom, I'm down in South Jersey, come down and hit the sand some time! I have a few friends in Oak Ridge too.
I had a crash last week getting towed and got a little trash I walking around like a 90 old man bent over with a bad back but once I jump on the bike I’m up and standing and riding crazy lol
Wow, does this video hit home. Jaw dropping and super great news. Wow!
Theo best vídeo about dirt bike ride.

32:03 Motocross tracks change every lap so you still have to adapt to new lines ect

Do a video on what to loctite on your bike and what not to
Secure whatever fell off the last time you rode. Like seat bolts or fenders, exhaust....none on the chain or spark plug or idle screw.
