He didn’t just sample it, they worked together on it. Because all people say is they sampled Shiloh, most people don’t know they actually worked together.

I think the most insightful part of that repetition is the fact that (if I remember correctly) X said he couldn't end himself, so when he says "Got no choice but to carry on" it comes across as quite literally instead of just a common phrase. This song is so great, most of his short songs are his best although I always wish there was just a bit more
The song is exceeding its purpose, he was smart. His songs always pulls you back. It’s addicting, he said his name means ‘unknown temptation’. It’s kinda odd how tempting it feels to go back to his music. Hence his name literally meaning ‘unknown temptation.’

Anyone else miss Shiloh Dynasty?
I’m trying to carry on, I wish I could stop fucking drinking. I drink a handle of liquor like a fish just so I can forget everything. I feel like I’m letting my baby daughter down tho I do take care of her all of a sudden I feel everything crashing down on me. My girlfriend and I got into an argument about something small but since I drink I feel like I’m such a fucking asshole to her and I don’t mean to be and I don’t know have the social skills to tell her I was in the wrong. I feel sick the way I talked to her tonight and now I’m drinking more to cope which might make things worse. I don’t know what the fuck to do I love her and my daughter so much but I feel like she doesn’t think I do. I hate that this addiction runs in my family and I wish I could’ve been someone else, someone better. My daughter doesn’t deserve me she loves me I can tell but there are better people out there. I don’t feel like I’m worth it and I can’t stop thinking about it.

I cant help but notice whoever makes these lyric video get line wrong in almost all the videos ive watched and it is beyond irritating when they could literally look them up on google.

X on his ‘17’ album sampled Shiloh Dynasty - (which was pretty much undiscovered at the time) on Jocelyn Flores, Carry On and Everybody Dies in their Nightmares. He sung along with it so parts are him. On “?” the song “Remedy for a Brokenheart” the vocals are him trying to create that initial feeling that the sampled Shiloh Dynasty created - but since Shiloh ghosted after getting attention. X just used his own voice and re-sampled it

Hey tom the interlude style muffled backround melodic verse is by an artist by the name shiloh dynasty. Very beautiful voice and creative sound for sure. Dynasty as of now isnt in the public eye anymore for whatever reason. Rip X
its actually "carry on like flights so just carry on" its a nice play on words by X. carry on as in with your life, plane flights kind of represent getting away from things "flying away" but then carry on also representing "carry on luggage" and the luggage could represent the baggage he feels from his life and just wanting to carry on and fly away
