WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?
A lot of channels do Patreon or TH-cam Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. WHO AM I?
I am a BABCP accredited cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist living in the south of England. I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma to help them move forward with their lives.
On this TH-cam channel I try and make information more accessible by discussing psychological concepts through reacting to popular media.

Conversations about his „haste decisions“ are about a big controversy of XXXTENTACION that has largely sculpted the image most people had in that time of X.
He was in an out of jail in his teen years for various reasons like robbery and posession of a firearm. Keep in mind, this was at his lowest of lows both from being around the wrong people and also taking steroids. That wasnt only reflected by his behavior, but all of the music he released prior to 17 has been violent and loud as well. The biggest controversy however was, when we was 16 his then girlfriend had cheated on him leading him to physically abuse her and even lock her in his apartment until she escaped.
After going viral and being released from jail, X has taken big, and I mean really big steps towards changing his behavior and even began initiating contact with his single-mother again, which has neglected and abused him through his early life and wasn’t even present through big parts of his life. Almost all of his music and social media posts from then onwards were then focused on bettering and being a better human and using his platform for good.
Geneva, the ex girlfriend mentioned, forgave him, became friends with him and even dropped her charges. She still mourns his death to this day. Eventough the charges were dropped by her, the state persecuters still proceeded to press charges even doubling down and saying him meeting with her counting as witness tampering - because he wasn‘t supposed to be in contact with her during the trial.
There‘s a posthumous documentary about him which adresses about this and some other parts of his life, even having Geneva herself speak about the issue.

This song is about Jocelyn Ampero Flores, a 16 year old girl that commited suicide, X made this song cause he knew her very well. R.I.P to Jocelyn and Jahsey (XXXtentacion) hope they are both in a good place right now.

With xxxtentacion especially if you listen to a lot of his music from the rage to the sad music and the times they come out it shows a pattern of development and he started to be positive and help with his music for people who need it and in some songs he hints at and on a live about a week he died he felt like things were going to end so he wanted to heal as much as he could (himself and others)
If you listen to the introduction of the 17 album it’ll help you understand how and what his thoughts truly were

The 17 album is amazing and is his saddest, deepest, most relatable album. You should check it out. It has Revenge, Jocelyn Flores and other songs u might know. I love your reactions and appreciate your opinions. Keep doing what you doing

Save me by x would be a good one to react to I think literally any of his music up until his death in 2018 is amazing thanks for keeping his name alive all these years later always love seeing reactions to him pop up on my recommend as his music has saved my life quite a few times and helped me through a lot of stuff past and present
Also his music videos look at me and sad are unfortunately the only ones that he managed to fully complete but both have a deep meaning behind them and are worth a watch
$uicideBoy$ are my friends from New Orleans. In relation to that last line in the song. The last line is basically that he knew her well enough, yet wasn’t able to figure out some stuff. If he could’ve things would have worked out right and she would still be alive. It’s sad that she was only 16 years old.

12:37 its just the sample of another singer (shiloh dynasty) for the beat. no big meaning and its just : "i know you so well, so well. i mean i can do anything that he can, ive been pretty." But, x does change it to make his lyrics sync in with shilohs, like in the 2nd and 3rd time he sings it.

i think the last part of song 12:41 means that jocelyn committed suicide cause it didn't meet her expectations and lost her hope that's why she committed suicide and went to god and by 'he', i think X means god and that he could've done anything for her so she didn't need to seek help of someone like god only if she had consulted and confessed with X....(This is just my pov)
ngl i wish i had you as a therapist I went to therapy for some trauma I have and basically just got a f off from them. It helped but not in the way it was supposed to cause I just ended up laughing it off and moving on.
I believe the lyrics at the very beginning and the end were not a part of the song but were just a part of the background vocals he sampled for the instrumental. The background vocals were done by someone named Shiloh Dynasty, who's were used on quite a few of his tracks.

X actually made a few songs for his first gf he broke up with, centhia, like wingriddenangel, teeth, i dont wanna do this anymore, and lets pretend were numb, these are all great songs too listen/react, they all have wild storys, take teeth for example, x is confused, and then he finds a dead body in the woods, and for some reason is obsessed with it. X and Jocelyn had a romantic relationship. The lyric "I can do anything he can" means that he can do anything that the other love interest in her life can. It was a sample from shiloh though so not necessarily specific to his story with Jocelyn

I’m think that end bit where he says “I can do anything he can” maybe it’s something about his friend and how he could have prevented it if he was there instead of his friend that’s what I think
I really reccomend you react to $uicideboy$ and more specific "Kys part 3". Many of their songs are very deep but this one in specific talks about certain things that i think your expertise would make it a very good reaction.

I never wanna feel good again because it'll feel even worse getting over this and then feeling happy and having it all crash down again. Its better to just having the bad times normalized.

Don’t know if anyone else in the comments mentioned it already, but a slip knot is basically a noose. His uncle was depressed and hanged himself from his balcony, and X had to witness it after the fact. This is from X’s twitter account (in 2014).
If you look up shyloh dynasty the ending is a cover of her song
The story of this one was the xxxtentacion was at some play far from home with two chicks and these two chicks were arguing about smth and the next day room service was called (They were in a hotel) because the bathroom door was closed and stuck closed as they opened it they found (Jocelyn Flores) dead on the ground with a gun.

I know I’m 4 months late, but just a little reminder that Jah (aka XXXTentacion) was 19 and Jocelyn F. Was 16 when they met, and Flores killed herself in the Hotel’s room bathroom, X was somewhat aware around that timeline and he also got a call or was criticized by the Flores parents that they questioned “why did he put our daughter’s name as the title of the song..” or something, but he was then pronounced dead, by the time he was bound to be asked by questions from the parents
