I don’t know why but I was so excited watching this video! All those tractors in one place! I could have spent all day at the dealer. I bought my first tractor earlier this year. Because of where I live and the lingering effects of the Covid bs, I didn’t have as big of a selection to choose from. I finally decided on Bobcat and have been very happy with my decision. Awesome tractor. It’s amazing as to what it can do. I have been slowly customizing it to fit my needs. It’s been a blast! Enjoy your new tractor!
I have a Kubota L4701 and love it. Right now I’m tickled because I have only one payment left ! This feels better then paying off my Harley some yrs ago !
I've had a 3510 Branson for 8 years. 4200 hours, it cut, rake and bailed about 3000 small square bails a year on the farm. Good loader for moving 600 lbs round bails. Used it for logging and snow plowing. Good tractor overall. Good choice, Tym has many of the same features as my Branson. Enjoy. Tanks for the video
Just picked up a 2018 LS Mt345e with the loader/bucket, pallet forks, box blade, and 6' Modern galvanized brush cutter with only 63.5 hours for $16,500.00. I had been looking around for something 40+ HP with a loader. We also have a late 70s Mahindra 4505DI and a late 70s Ford 1700 but niether had a loader or 4x4. I've read quite a few positive things about the LS so we'll see how it does. Maybe I'll post a few videos with it soon. I haven't had the chance to put it through its paces yet but I couldn't pass the deal up.
YES, for me having grown up on Lap of DAD, the SHUTTLE shift is my favorite. I once had a Ford (420) with a backhoe. That's going down to shift Gear Lever to go in Reverse. Just saying the shuttle is so nice. I guess people love using their FEET though on forward and reverse. I just feel so much more in control with a Shuttle. Those Tractors all look like WORK horses. They all look great.
I wasnt price shopping in the 25hp hst market , Looked at every brand but ended up with a RK25 and our service dept is great as well , 493 hours no issues !
I just ordered a tym t474 from Larry stovesand equipment. Should be here this weekend. My blood has run green for past 30 years but it was time for a change
There are some good body microphones for reasonably cheap that you can put a fuzzy cover on to reduce wind noise and improve your audio a lot. Amazon has a ton which will link to phones, gopro's, camera's, etc. I got a set of 3 for $30 that connect to android and apple phones.
I own a Brandon 3515h. A 35 Hp non turbo hydro 3 range. Pretty much gutless when running a 5’ brush hog. I have to be in the lowest range with rpm maxed to work it. I wish I had spent more and got the 40hp turbo. Only had a few issues with it. At 12 hours I found oil on the manifold. The Cummins manufacture pinched the valve cover gasket- resolved. The hood release is in constant weather so it rusted solid. Had to cut it off to get the hood open. And the front rim is too wide for the tire so constant flat tires.
I wanted the 3620 or the 4820. But I decided on the TYM. 1 the package deal I got was the same price as the 4820 tractor alone. And TYM is fazing out the Branson name after this year. At least that’s what the dealership said.
When buying new, when you get to the point of brand, in my opinion it falls down to the dealer support. Prior to that are the issues of frame size, horse power and those types of concerns. Mist brands will have similar size and power train options.
Dealer support is key………. I would lean towards Kubota or JD. Think about this for a second……5 years ago, would you even have know what a TYM was. Buyer beware.
The dealer I got it from which is about 35 minutes from me. And is the largest Kioti dealer in the nation. TYM has been in business for over 70 years. I was looking at them and the Branson. TYM bought out Branson late last year 2022. And they are going to phase out the Branson name after this year. So my dealer support is there.
@@outdooradventureswithbrayt3665 Interesting comment about the phasing out. I was told the same thing by my dealer here in my corner of the world (North Quebec, Canada) about Branson. Branson owner for the last 8 yrs from this dealer. Now buying the LS MT5 from same dealer. Enjoyed the video btw. Thanks
I have actually owned BOTH a 35 h.p. Branson as well as a 40 h.p. TTM the TYM was a MUCH BETTER TRACTOR with one exception, the hydrostatic pump will leave you deaf in a very short period of time if you have a cab. But overall the TYM was a MUCH better tractor!
Definitely something to consider if your intention is to resell and upgrade. In my case, I bought a Branson 8yrs ago with the intention to use it till it dies on me. As of now I think it might outlast me. 😉
@@retired_raspberry that is true in some cases but I just sold my Mahindra I had for 17 years needed more hp and purchased a Kubota with a cab you just never know what changes in life wish you the best
JD would be my pick....but Mike's a classy guy. He'll treat you right...unlike my Kioti dealer Manchester Motors in Maine and their Topsham location. If you're in Maine, stay away from them.
TYM would not be my first choice, lots of complaints, especially the hydrostatic drive. I did not hear the price paid. I am going with a Kubota 3902. $25,500 with front loader, metal fenders and hood, hydraulics are tucked in. Not going with plastic fenders etc.

Those three brands are all consumer grade machines. Out of those Branson will soon be buying their engines from Duetz. If you want a decent compact tractor go to Massey Ferguson.
I was impressed with TYM 474 when I tried to test drive one.
I just purchased a t474. I haven't had a lot of time on it yet but so far I really like it.

What a good day for a couple boys. I will be going with the T494. It will have a logging winch. The T474 is light for logging.

Didn’t see him look at the Kioti’s? What was the Kioti turn off?
He was shopping for a year. He knew what he wanted.
I personally own a TYM 494 with cab and hyrdo, just hit 255hrs and its a solid machine. not really any issues
It was up to that and the 474. With my property I thought the larger frame would be a problem. Plus I can fit the 474 on my dump trailer if needed.

Get the weight distributing hitch for the trailer
If you care about it holding it value buy a Deere or Kubota

Not a tractor buff myself ( too cheap ) but Kioti, Branson, TYM and Kubota probably all come out of same Korean factory.
Branson is now a subdivision of tym. Kubota is separate. Think kioti comes out of China but not sure.
Kioti is a south Korean company Daedong, Branson is a tym product also out of south Korea, kubota is Japanese

How about give a USA corporation such as JD, NH or IH? All are keeping our dollars here.
