    I've driven my 2007 Ford Escape for 14 years everyday. It now has 198,000 miles. No bells or whistles. No issues. You would think it's 3 years old if it wasn't for the year/make/model.

      @@georgia_flyfisher2200 the infotainment issues have been there since 2022 when the Tundra came out. You’d think that an over the air update could fix the issue, however it hasn’t yet. They may be able to fix the molding issue, but I don’t foresee them changing anything else on the 2025 model. I wouldn’t let the moldings deter you from purchasing now

    I would suggest that you try to find a wider mud guard and if they might look bad then get a set of side steps that would be wide enough to catch those rocks. I am waiting for my 2024 Tacoma in Blue Crush Metallic that has the Premium Package. It’s been in production for several weeks now. I appreciate your video that shows the rock chip problem. I’m going the side step solution to the rock chips because I like the way a truck looks with them on. Also I am getting this truck from a dealer in Montana. I got tired of waiting for a truck in my color or the red color like yours, from my dealer in South Dakota. I just lucked out getting the Premium Package. I guess I called the Montana dealer at just the right time.

    Hi , love your reviews. Little question, when you have a bit of weight in the box did you ever notice the coil springs bottom out on the the rubber absorbers? Im saying a little weight..300 lbs maybe...i noticed it when i drove over a dip in the road and suspension in the back bottomed out..i was suprised

      @@patrickboulet1134 no I’ve never noticed it bottom out, but the coil springs do react differently than the leaf springs. It feels smoother on the small bumps, but then almost harsh feeling like it did bottom out on some bigger pot holes. The new Tundra feels like that also.

    Holy rock chips batman. Put some side steps on the truck as well, that should help. Toyota or future owners should add more clear paint protection to that spot.

  • @Oldrush
    @Oldrush 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The noise you hear with the rear seat folded is the cab vent. It’s just a light rubber flap that keeps dust from getting in the cab. It allows the doors to shut by allowing air to escape. Insulation won’t prevent this. Maybe a blanket over it would help cut some noise and allow enough air to escape but you’ll have to remove whatever is mounted in front of it. The bed rail might be a bad design of the part itself or the mold in the factory or the process of the injection itself.

      @@Rodneysnwridesandreviews you need 2’ of 1/2”&5/8” heater hose. Cut to length to fit on each side of the washer nozzles, then slit the pieces to go over the lip on the cowl and stack the 5/8 over the 1/2. I then put some camper weather striping on the underside of the hood above the heater hose just to insure the paint wouldn’t get rubbed off. This gave the hood in front of the windshield some support. That took care of 75% of it, I then cut some foam pipe insulation in half and put that in between the 2 layers of the hood at the edges of the hood scoop to support that to get rid of 20% more. Total cost to lessen the very annoying hood flex about $15 that Toyota either didn’t catch on testing or just didn’t care enough to correct.

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews

      @@paulnirschl6500 I haven’t noticed the flex on my Tacoma hood as much as I’ve seen it on the Grand Highlander. The hood line on the Grand Highlander is very flat, and doesn’t have as much contour to it. It’s all about the weight reduction, but I agree they could have come up with some reinforcement to prevent. Great ingenuity
