@Sue Martino your a bum who don't know about football, Rodger didn't do well and he had a new system just like Jordan love. As a Packers fan I hope and believe Jordan love will do good as I don't want my team to be bad. Bum ass weirdo
Thanx. Feeling so much better about this Packer's pick. Kid needs to work, watch and learn for a full 3 years behind the man. Then we have a chance at him being no. 3 in the trilogy.
I was surprised we made pick, but I had fantasized what it would be like because he was the realistic option for QB for GB in the draft since other QBs were gonna go in the top 10. I like Love the more I see and hear about him, and in two or three years if he's able to continue the legacy for incredible QBs in Green Bay, he will quiet a lot of people with negative takes after the draft
He might, but I don't see him getting enough playing time to fully develop, unless the Packers get massive, unassailable leads in the fourth quarter and Aaron can come out of the game and even then it's a trashy time to be playing the game. Nice pick at the end of the first but by the wrong team.
@@quietenglishman4179 If the Packers believe Love can be a top 10 QB for 10-15 years for them starting in a few years, is it the wrong pick? Only teams that may pass on a QB at that late in the first round with that evaluation they have of him would be teams with QBs on rookie or second contracts
so our paths have cross. i remember his dad's passing in the news. he beats my fresno state bulldogs. im a huge packers fan. and now he is here. what a turn of event's. welcome to the packers. future mahomes/ aaron rodgers/ wilson type player
Watched this guy play throughout HS for liberty. Glad to see another Bakersfield kid make it out, congrats to Jordan on making the big leagues and good luck.
He does have that "It" factor. He has that smoothness to him. Many comparisons to others like Vick & Mahomes, but in the end, I think he'll be talked about as Jordan Love and what Jordan Love did. Perfect size and arm talent. In LA Fluers offense, I truly believe the sky is the limit. He will be a winner, and we all get to watch!
It's hard to argue that this brewing project has become a remarkable Love Story. Everything has lined up beautifully for him to hopefully find satisfaction in how he got to where he's going. Love It!
As a long time Packer fan, I liked the pick once I thought about it a bit. Arguably they might have reached to get him, but I just don't know enough to argue that with any certainty. Everybody seems to agree that the young man needs some time to train up, hone his skills and build the ability to run an NFL offense. Great. We can do that here. AR is a rock solid QB, but he's 36. We just can't expect him to be the superman he once was. The draft QBs who were further along the curve towards NFL readiness were gone in the first 6 picks. I hope we're not picking that high any time soon, so this sort of thing is likely the way we bring in our next QB whether that ends up being Jordan Love or not.
Green Bay made it to the NFC Championship game last year, going 13 and 3. The only wide receiver GB had that was drafted was Adams and when he wasn't on the field the other receivers struggled to get open. All the other wide receivers were undrafted free agents off the practice squad and Allison, who Rodgers trusted, was just signed by the Lions. Rodgers needs weapons around him to throw to and they didn't take a wide receiver in the draft. This is different from when the Packers took Rodgers in the first round. Rodgers was projected as the number one pick and he fell into the Packers lap as the 23rd pick. This was also during a time when Favre was talking retirement. With Love, the Packers not only took him as their first pick, but they traded up to do it and also burned their 4th round pick. The Packers, coming off a 13 and 3 season and one game from the Super Bowl, are in a position to win now, so put some weapons around Rodgers. All the analysts were shocked by the pick because Love threw 17 interceptions (SEVENTEEN!!!) last year in college in a weak conference. He is considered a project with a lot of questions, so why trade up to take him with the first pick and lose your 4th round pick for someone with so many questions and so little experience? Rodgers, at 36, is still one of the top QBs in the league, has 4 years left on his contract and he wanted weapons to throw to. After this year he has an out in his contract to be traded and the Packers just failed to draft more weapons to throw to again. Something they failed to do last year as well, knowing they were losing Cobb and others. Getting to a Championship game is rare and getting to a Super Bowl is even more difficult and the Packers are in a position to win now. Watch the Pat McCaphy draft video and watch Mel Kieper's reaction when GB traded up and took Love. That says it all.
Cool paragraph. I know about football tho and about my Packers. Rodgers needs a defense and a great offense not just one like everyone is begging. And if Aaron leaves I don't want the team to be shit so Love after sitting can hopefully do well and win for the packers.
All the chips are stacked against him... but with good guidance & instruction for 2 to 3 years... He can be the best... He is raw talent... not enough structure learning in high school or college... so ponder that for a minute or 2...🤔
Jordan threw 17 ints his junior year. Let's break those down for the others who only see numbers. 3 of Jordans picks were on Hail Mary plays at the end of games or before halftime. 4 hit WRs in the chest and bounced out for INTs. and 2 were batted at the line and tipped up into the air for INts. Jordan only threw 7 real Ints that season.
I am a huge Love fan, but you can't say all that without still mentioning that he still had the 4th most turnover-worthy plays in all of college football in 2019. 26. So yeah, he got unlucky on some of those picks but he also got lucky on several ill-advised throws. I think that he has remedied that though and I don't think he'll be the turnover machine in 2023 that he was in '19.
Let's see if he can stay out of trouble there. He was caught smoking dope here in Logan then hid from the cops like a little girl. His last year at usu was pathetic, looked like he wasn't even trying anymore.
I get so tired of people saying he's a project and how he needs to sit DAMN ALL THAT! He should be dominating the preseason if he's able to grasp the Playbook in a timely fashion, some of the greats had HORRIBLE First Years Peyton Manning comes to mind

A I tell you what he better bring it, he got big shoes to fill, just our receiver’s got on track he better to, packers rogers was right the way they go about things is off, but I like how we get the rookies an turn them into monster but we don’t keep them 🤔 you could have gave my guy one more year an something to the team we brought it at the end, love you are not accurate bro, you got better but man you got shoes to fill 😤 just saying as a fan, go pac go 🧀
RUN. RUUUUUUNNN , NO ONE TWO THROWS RRRRRRRUUUUN TO LINE, ITS JUST RIIIIIGGGHT THERE!!! DONT GO BACK! RUN FORWARD!!! THose two step backs make a huge difference. RUUUNNNN IF YOU DONT HAVE A RECEIVER!! AT LEAST there is yard gained.🤯🥶🤔😵🤧😵💫
After seeing this, I’m rooting so hard for this kid to succeed. He’s finally getting his chance, and as a Packers fan, I cannot wait.
I’m excited for the future of this team as well
Me too i think he going to be better then what people think

I feel like Love sitting behind Aaron Rodgers is the best thing for his career to last in the NFL
Right he has so much potential with a good team we can get him back to his 2018 self
Sergio Moralez like he said the talent on his team much worse his last year at Utah state

I think it is, like Rodgers had Favre as a teacher. For example Burrow has no one with experience in Bengals
