Skagen is Danish design, it's minemalistic and Scandinavian. Love that it's Android too. Skagen is the most southern point of Denmark, were two seas meet each other. Very cold but very beautiful. The name fits the watch.
Have been talking through my watch since Huawei watch 1.It is very useful when you are riding a bike or carrying groceries, etc. I wouldn't buy a smart watch without a mic and speaker anymore. There are a lot of useful apps on wear os for everything you may think of, however using them once in a blue moon doesn't really make them essential. This is why I was mostly ok with switching to Tizen for that rotating bezel.
I'm really liking the look of the Falster 3, thinking about replacing my 2-year old 3rd gen Q Explorist with one of these. I'm just trying to decide on which colour and watch for a sale at this point. I dig the brown hybrid leather band but prefer the silver watch body. (My Fossil is black on black on black, wanted something different). I guess i could but the blue silicon or metal mesh band to get the silver body and put in may band, but I'd rather not have to buy another strap. Ah well, I'll continue to sleep on it.
Well I have the watch GT and the honor magic watch 2 and love them. I just ordered the Fossil Gen 5 a few days ago. If you don't care about apps go magic watch. It is amazing. Only shitty thing is you can't get extra watch faces if you live in the US or Canada. I am in Canada and found out the hard way.

I really wanted to buy this watch originally, as I really like the design of it, but eventually I bought the TicWatch Pro 2020, as it has a 1GB of ram (so it's fast and snappy), it's has built in sleeping tracking and alarm, auto Training tracking, and thanks to the dual display, I get it with always on display which manage to survive the 48h on moderate usag (notifications, occasionally using the Google assistant, using the apps a bit, sleep tracking, Bluetooth on, wifi off, gestures off, nfc off). I do whish the screen was better, that it was also good for pool swimming, and that it would have the digital crown, but I think that in general it's quite a good balance. Thanks for great review 😊

Until Qualcomm or another SoC manufacturer actually makes a new chipset battery life will always be mediocre on Wear OS devices. The 3100 after all is just the 2100 with the coprocessor just tacked onto the side. Still a very sleek looking watch!
I like it when everything is done in dark mode even save more power for a watch-like that I like to pick up one of those kind of waiting for the next newer version of the ticwatch pro I might consider this one
I never use the always on function on my watch. I just raise my wrist, the screen turns on and I see the time. Waste of battery and high risk of burn-in (on OLED) with always on.

I know this is my OCD and I totally get you left your charger back home intentionally for the battery test for this video…but dude, take your charger!!! You can still do the test by just not using the charger until it dies, but at least THEN you have the charger to keep it useful. You never know, something crazy goes down and you get stuck for a few extra days…and can still use your watch!!! :-)
You need to check out the amazfit T-Rex watch has a 20-day battery life and just the basics of what you need. Just give it a look and let me know your thoughts.
What about Tag Heuer Connected that will come out with its third generation this year? Expensive, yes, but I think it could be the perfect watch since it doesn't have to much of the smartwatch functions, and the battery last pretty long. I'm not sure if it's a mix of automatic and battery? Anyway, looking forward to see the new model for sure.
Looks nice, but the battery is half empty after one hour workout. Bluetooth hast many dropouts with my InEars. Support ist not helpful: It's a feature, not a bug....
Yeah.. Smart watches will always have the same problem. Battery life. Until they can somehow increase battery capacity without increasing size too much. I still can't see any particular advantages. I've made a mistake myself by purchasing a moto 360 2nd gen to find it doesn't even last a day. But what's worse is the battery degradation now it won't last 5 hours. With no way of changing the battery.
Everything less than 2 weeks of battery life is a no go for me. For now i'll stay with my Amazfit bip that has a battery life of a month. Yes i know it doesn't look as nice as this one.

Unfortunately it can't, unless you install a modded spotify app which will drain the battery. This is literally the only reason why I'm not buying this watch. I'm hoping for an update from Spotify for Wear OS. I don't want to buy a Samsung watch :(

I love the watch design but I fall into the battery life camp. If I was to use it just for looking ay notifications,setting timers, changing music and sleep tracking, could you get possibly up to five- six days of battery life?
Sleep as android is a PAID application...with a confusing interface ...and at the the end you to and up closing all AI features and do manual track.... 300 dollars for just another design ..its a bit to much....get a cheap ticwatch that will do the same job with halve and less the price... All wear os watches with all ON..give max 24 hours...whats the point getting a smart watch and start sutting down everything just to get 12 hours more... All wear os watches with sd2100 sd3100 show and feel the same.... Conclusion....if you have money to throw in the wind.....get this one or a fossil or a ticwatch pro all above 250$.... Personally i found a ticwatch S2 for 120 euros cause i wanted to test wear os....i beleive i sould have get a xiaomi...gts or verge...or a samsung gear sport /active i they do the same job for less and without breaking your nerves with google.... As far the bluetooth calling from a watch that's a commercial trick to sell more ....not to mention of the prethora of google-ios-sammy.. apps witch 95% are useless...(another trick to sell more...you will never use more than 5-8 apps)... Hope that they will get beter with time...all of them....

Android watches are getting better, despite the superiority of the iWatch in general. At least the Android ones are a lot more beautiful
I have the old Falster 1 and getting nearly 2 days battery. Also, bands on are super easy to attach.

Always on display moves around slightly to avoid the burn in....

blaster915 No. I have a Falster 3 and barely use it and get 1 1/2 days on normal mode plus a 1/2 day on the battery save mode.
