I Got The CHEAPEST Tesla CCS Adapter... Here's What Happened

I bought the cheapest CCS1 to Tesla charging adapter I could find, so I can DC fast charge on CCS charging stations! I wanted a CCS adapter for redundancy on road trips. Being so cheap, I had no idea if the adapter would work! In this video I try my 2023 Standard Range Model 3 (The LFP battery version) on two separate DCFC CCS1 stations here in Canada; a Flo 50kw station and an Electrify Canada 350kw station. Did it work? The second charger probably was being limited by the car.
You can get 170kw on the lfp batteries, but not for long, you need to be below around the 30% mark. You plugged in at over 40% so the speed you got was limited by the car, even with a warm battery.

Stop spreading FUD about Super Chargers. Tesla is spending $500M this year on new Superchargers. How much are the other providers spending?

Tesla laid off the employees that installed the superchargers as of this week. Tesla is no longer installing them.

Stay away from Electrify America stations. Especially in Indiana. Leave those for me. I’m share there’s superchargers lose by 😅

Honestly I only got the CCS adapter as a backup in case Superchargers are absurdly busy or not working; or I happen to be in an area where there's not a conveniently close-by Supercharger like in Halifax
