    Somluck Kamsing is famous in Thailand being the first Thai athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing. He is regarded as one of the top Nak Muay for his crafty style and heavy knockout power in both hands. He has been busy lately fighting in Bangkok having signed a six fight deal with a Thai Promotion. His first fight back was in October of last year. He beat Yodwanpadet Suwanwichit at a sold out show at Rajadamnern Stadium.
    You can expect Somluck (otherwise known as Somrak) to be very busy this year fighting in Thailand and abroad.
    Somluck’s opponent American Chike Lindsay is a very athletic and skilled fighter. Chike has fought and beat Muay Thai legends in the past including a victory over Matee Jedipitak for the IMTO World Title in 2007 and two victories over Malaipet Sasiprapa for the WBC international Title.
    Chike has been fighting actively in New York and Los Angeles as of late. In November of 2012 he beat Cyrus Washington at “Muay Thai at the Mecca 2″ in New York City and in December he beat Christophe Pruvost at “Muay Thai in America” in Playa Del Rey, CA.

    Pomona, CA -- Push Kick Promotions “World Stand Off” took place on Saturday night at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA. The night’s main event featured about between Chike Lindsay of Atlanta against Thai legend Somluck Kamsing. First round started off slow with both fighters feeling each other out and showing a lot of respect for each other's power. In rounds 2 Chike started being a bit more agressive constantly keeping Somluck against the rope looking to mix feints with combinations. Somluck used his craftiness and experience to fight off of the ropes with push kicks to avoid taking heavy damage. Round 3 followed a similar pattern as the previous with Somluck using small teeps to stop combination work, but with Chike still the remaining the aggressor and landing the more significant strikes. Highlights of the round include Somluck attempting his signiture spinning hook kick and missing answered by Chike with a spinning hook kick of his own that connects on the jaw of Somrak. Judges score the bought a unanimous victory for Chike Lindsay.
