This is as they say is for the very educated. If someone reads a study on each scene they may understand the meaning behind those scenes. To understand completely though unless you're an astrophysicist or other extremely educated person on the matter it's very difficult and that's coming from someone that's love space and knew the diameter of the sun and distance of pluto from it at age 9.

Science is a very human thing, its very easy to grasp when presented in the way interstellar does, instead of calculus and symbols, which are also demanding of an actual background. But the raw concepts behind these calculations are very human, im not going against what you said in any way btw, that's just my take, to me, what is hard in science is only to learn the language of numbers and symbols and syntaxes, but the concepts behind them are mostly understandable to the average human. I noticed she grasped a lot of the (sometimes a bit inaccurate due to creative license) science in the movie. In a basic manner. I've studied aspects of general relativity out of curiosity and can say I have a fair grasp of it, and also that this movie is the closest any has ever come to being scientifically correct. Even the time dilation on Miller's planet is real, but in reality the planet would have had to have been within the event horizon of the black hole. This is where the creative license came in. To have a planet that close to the singularity AND outside the event horizon to have such extreme time gravitational time dilation, the black hole would have had to be spinning at near the speed of light, something which is very unlikely to be a real phenomenon in our cosmos and definitely not what was depicted. What WAS depicted, was in fact an accurate computer simulation of a very slowly spinning supermassive black hole with a big accretion disc. This simulation turned out to be factually correct as a few years later the first direct observation of an accretion disc of a black hole was made. Now you wonder, why did Nolan choose such extreme dilation? To make every second on the planet exactly 24 hours on Earth. So the ticking clock represented the days on Earth ticking away. He had hot debates with scientific advisor Kip Thorne, who claimed it could not be done, and Nolan sent him away THREE times with the message, "I am confident you'll come up with something" , which he did of course, but it also shows Nolan's Tenacity for showing accurate, albeit improbable, science in his movies, also by making clever use of loop holes. Kip Thorne is considered by many to be the leading expert on Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.

To prevent Dr. Brand from dying Cooper then released Dr. Brand's shuttle at a specific time so that the black hole's gravity would slingshot/swing her off towards the other planet that they did not have enough fuel to get to using the ship alone. When Cooper's shuttle gets pulled into the black hole it begins to fall apart because of the strong gravity. He ejects himself from the shuttle, but quickly falls into a TESSERACT. The tesseract that the future "humans" placed in the black hole for him is a physical representation of a 4th dimension for humans of today to make sense of. Knowing that they're watching this film as ISRO (the Indian space agency) was the first to land on the Moon's South Pole (with the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft) just a few weeks ago is incredible. There's hope for humanity, I hope!!

Sanskrit is base language of hindi ancient indian astrologers written scripts and books which contain many astrophysics terminology which directly borrowed in hindi vocabulary in india sanskrit word of gravity given by astronomer Brahmagupta 2 in 7th century
Ruby is definitely a deep thinker! She said a few things that made me pause to reflect a little as well. Everyone here had a very good understanding of things in the movie I think the Tesseract & black hole throw them off but they definitely seem like overall it left a good impression on them. I remember seeing this in the theatre and just being in awe, if I could relive my life I'd want to visit space. I even went to go buy the book written by the astrophysicist that helped with making the movie.
TBF, theoretical physics is understood by very few people fundamentally and practiced by a handful. Nolan and the help of Kip Thorne did a good job of conveying some simple concepts, but most of the practical applications are difficult for anyone to understand. It's a perfect way to get people excited about learning astrophysics, our universe is so complex and so amazing.
@@sqlevolicious Except they said that during the most unintelligent point of the film that had nothing to do with "theoretical physics" or reality. It doesn't take a theoretical physicist to understand "time go slow near big hole". Nothing happened in this movie (before the inside the black hole crap) that couldn't be understood by a toddler.
@@ahall9839 I know the movie is easy to understand by anyone who knows basic physics and I read about this stuff for more than a decade now (and I watched the movie back in the theaters when it came out in 2014) but I don't go on claiming anyone who doesn't understand it is a "toddler" and that they are beneath me. Don't be like that.
First of all haha - Babu getting told he shouldn't poop on the field but just in a toilet from now on just made my day! What a unique message to get from THAT movie haha! Love it! But this answers on old question of mine. How would people of some village with no knowledge of Einstein's theory of relativity who have never even heard of black holes at all see this movie. And here we have an anwer. It's amazing what they take away from it. How humans ruined the planted, that scientist only care about data and not religion... They got the moral message even though they totally missed the aspect of people from the future who left the 3 dimensional space behind and helping Cooper from the future who then helps Murph through time and space.
You have to watch this movie at least twice before you get a clear understanding of all the connections between time, locations and characters. It's an amazing movie.
This film is such a masterwork; I cannot even watch these delightful people react to it without weeping. And the music is beyond. It's the most emotional sci-fi film ever, I think.
What a wonderful reaction to watch! It would be so fun to watch them react to other Christopher Nolan films like Inception. I also think they would really enjoy watching the Matrix. There are so many good mind-bending movies out there!
Congratulations to India and the ISRO on joining us in the future of space exploration. To be the first on the Southern Pole of the Moon is beyond an amazing accomplishment. This movie explored some high end concepts, concepts that have to do with actual inter systems travel, but perhaps the next Einstein is waiting in a small Indian village to expand our knowledge of time and space. It is so important to get everyone interested in these concepts, to let their minds grow, and it certainly seems to have given them so much to think on themselves.
I love that these longer movies give everyone enough time to develop friendships and banter between themselves, and it gives us the chance to see even more of their personalities.
I've always thought Ruby was great and it doesn't hurt that she's a great beauty as well, but seeing her reaction to this... wow. She's amazing. What deep, meaningful thoughts she had as a result of this movie. I'm not sure I had half as much revelation from it than she did. I hope her husband and family realize what a wonderful person they have in her. Thank you for having her join the team. She's been a fantastic contributor.
This movie, next to Inception is one of my favorites. I love their reactions to it. I’ve watched this so many times, and I still enjoy reactions, how they saw it.
Ruby has untapped intelligence. Her reactions are truly telling. Please have her in more reactions because she really gets it! The others do, as well, but Ruby is a gem.
these three lovely people should provide guest commentary for every movie out there...just so much direct and pure wisdom from them...very enjoyable to watch 🙏🏻
Wow! Ruby really gets the concept of movies. From "The Sixth Sense" to a movie as complicated as this one is. She needs to go to university and study sciences. She's absolutely has a beautiful and brilliant mind. Please let her know we see just how absolutely smart she is. Please have her on more science videos. If she can't go to school then teach her through video. I know it's not a good substitute for school. But you can see she's smart and will understand what she sees. Great job on video today. Blessings to you all.
Yes! Ruby! She really brings so much to whatever video she’s in. Interstellar was a great movie for this trio. Other sci-fi I’d like to recommend: Stargate, Life on Mars, Planet of the Apes (2001), Life (2017, sci-fi/thriller)
This is among the very best channels on movies ever. These reactions are fascinating and sometimes profound too. Very interesting to see this culture clash or empathy.... And great movie pick too. Interstellar is one of my all time favorite scifi movies ever.
Interstellar should be watched by each and every human being, its a film which is satisfying on all aspects!! Truly an unmatchable achievement in filmmaking!! Nolan will be a forever legend!!
I gotta say, I'm a big fan! Ruby is, by far, the smartest of all reactors on this channel, and definitely one of the smartest even across various channels I'm subscribed to of TH-camrs around the world, though I take nothing away from the others who also are bright and perceptive, but she's next level! She's also the bravest and puts all the men to shame when she tries daring things, which I admire as well. The more information and experiences you give her, she just performs at the highest levels because she's just naturally intelligent and brave, and cool as hell with a great laugh! 😁👍🏾I know she's got her family to take care of but please put her in more videos!
I agree, but Raeen really surprised me with his assessment at the end. I did not expect him to grasp what he did, and I think he’s much smarter than I had previously thought.
@@penname5766 Raeen has his moments, and he made some good assessments but he also made some incorrect ones as well, like when he made his three points and one of them was he learned there was no gravity on all other planets, which was very incorrect, so he should pay more attention, but Ruby steadily catches things very quickly and is very astute. If they did a quiz challenge and played against each other, she'd most likely wipe them out in points and win easily 😂
This movie's sory is very similar as the story of Katvanga Maharaja in the Puranas. The king went to the demigods for helping them in the war, anf after came back to the earth, and he was surprised seeing that his whole femily and dinasty where already dead, because time is different here and other planets.
This is one of those movies you not only need a capable and impressive screen to watch it on, but an equally impressive sound system to fully appreciate it. Good headphones is one thing, but you want to feel it physically shake you, especially with the deep tones of the soundtrack.
I wish I could explain the concept and nuances and the intricacies of this movie to them for instance the ticking on the water planet every second which is a day on Earth
The CGI effects were so lifelike and required such complicated equations to create the black hole in the movie, that it actually did help scientists understand black holes.
It'd be pretty cool if they can watch Harry and the Henderson. I haven't seen every since I was a kid but I remember the family took a Bigfoot home with them. It's more like a family movie. It'd be pretty cool to see their reactions to the Patterson film too. It'd be interesting to see the group's opinion about whether a Bigfoot is real or not.

14:13 by spinning like this, they're creating artificial gravity through the centrifugal force distributed outwards from the center. The ring-like station's spinning pushes them down onto the floor. You'd mainly feel the spin in the center ship. Glad to see y'all loving this movie!

45:37 “This movie is only for intelligent people, not everyone will be able to understand it”….😂 Exactly how I felt when I first watched this movie
@@ahall9839 Get off your intellectual high horse.
@@krautgazer If that was me being on a high horse, you need to get off your low horse
Aww, my three favourites reacting to my favourite film! This was such a treat!
This young woman is wise and fearless.
And her outfits are amazing.
You have to watch this movie at least twice before you get a clear understanding of all the connections between time, locations and characters. It's an amazing movie.
Yeah this isn't a movie you totally understand on the first watch, so they're doing great.
I'm up for watching them react to Interstellar _again_
This film is such a masterwork; I cannot even watch these delightful people react to it without weeping. And the music is beyond. It's the most emotional sci-fi film ever, I think.
I love this movie.
I love these people.
This was just lovely.
Thank you...
So wonderful to see them watch this movie.
The Amazing Ruby!!!! Babu and Raeen too!! What a treat to see these three together!!! ❤❤❤
If I was Nolan and I saw this video, it would bring me tears of joy to see people react to each beat of the film the way they did.
I love watching Ruby experience movies. She's so deep into it. Very thoughtful and attentive.
The singing in the end was so beautifully epic. Bless this group.
Hopefully they get to react to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, they’re my favorite!
“By the light of our new sun, in our new home.”
Love watching these 3 together, awesome channel 👍😎
Best space movie, the black hole took 800 terabytes of data to create for the movie, each frame roughly 100hours each render.
Yes it’s amazing, most people don’t know that’s a “real”, working model, a render of an actual singularity.
@@fawkesandhound indeed a huge pull off! will be a good while still before we see anything else as close
One of my favourite modern movies..
Please explain to them about how spinning creates artificial gravity and what blackholes are.
I love when they react to space movies! Now I wonder what their thoughts would be about the movie Arrival! I hope they get to watch it.
"Sir this is not a movie but a dream"
"You are chewing popcorn more than people chew gum." 🤣
She was great I enjoyed watching her reaction to this movie she seemed to pay attention and tried to follow as best as possible
"Find us a new home, and by the time you return..." "I will clean the house, wash the clothes and wash the dishes!" lol
this channel demonstrates so eloquently that true storytelling is a fundamental part of the human condition and transcends any time and any culture
I love how they all took away a message to help keep the earth, water and air clean.
I never thought I would see tribal villagers learning quantum physics - so great to see them enjoying it!
I always like their discussions at the end 👍
Ruby is absolutely brilliant and insightful.
The sound track in this movie is so crazy good.
She gets it. "STAY".
I love Ruby's "Oh My God's"!!
Agree 100%.
@@ahmedsirour Yes, I noticed what he said about gravity, but I was still impressed. I think Babu was right, that he doesn’t entirely pay attention.
I hope they understood this film cos I must admit I still don’t. Not fully
I could watching it over and over and over. I love this movie. I love any sci-fi movies
I got chills watching the movie and i got chills watching these guys watch the movie. Wonderful.
This movie's sory is very similar as the story of Katvanga Maharaja in the Puranas. The king went to the demigods for helping them in the war, anf after came back to the earth, and he was surprised seeing that his whole femily and dinasty where already dead, because time is different here and other planets.
Ruby has such a brilliant, sharp mind.
"Sir, this is not a movie but a dream!" ❤
This is one of those movies you not only need a capable and impressive screen to watch it on, but an equally impressive sound system to fully appreciate it. Good headphones is one thing, but you want to feel it physically shake you, especially with the deep tones of the soundtrack.
I wish I could explain the concept and nuances and the intricacies of this movie to them for instance the ticking on the water planet every second which is a day on Earth
Came here for this 35:15 just as i expected this scene pushes ever human being to the edge of their seats, truly a master piece.
the woman's reaction to the sad moments made this video great
i cant believe interstellar is almost 10 years old
I love u guys!! I cried with some of the scenes too while rewatching it
Wonderful movie, wonderful three people! As I was watching the video, I remembered the film Contact. Please, show it to them!
Thank you for doing my request (in case you forgot, I asked for it (impliedly) in one of your previous videos), I really like your reaction
Yep it was you and only you and no one else ever. Great job!
THIS IS AMAZINGLY ENTERTAINING!! thanks guys !
Ruby’s clothes are fabulous!
The way they were cooking the dude on the right about not realizing Cooper’s wife and Murph’s mom was dead is so funny to me lmao
the woman is so smart
Beautiful songs eveytime, thank you so much for sharing!
Finally! Thats what i asked for long ago! Thank you so mich
Thus just shows no matter what educatuon you have or do not have insight is in all of us....especially Ruby !!
What a great reaction 😮 enjoy your cinematic journey 😊
man Ruby slowly taking this over, ready to go paragliding understanding so much, damn love this person. very entertaining, bigger balls than i got, thats for sure. aint catching me up in the sky or a giant zip line. whats next? she gonna start doing cliff diving? lmao
I think Ruby understood this the most. It's a hard movie to grasp on first watching.
these are always fun, but i recommend putting the snacks in bowls next time :D
Ruby is very bright! You should invite her more!
I only like the space section of Instellar, but I was so excited to see their reaction to that tidal wave. 😂 Alien/Aliens soon please. ❤
And also, just wanted to say Ruby is looking so very nice, just love her jewelry and beautiful scarf. And the gentlemen both look handsome!
Very fun watching this with you all!
Babu must stop deficating in the fields 😂
14:13 by spinning like this, they're creating artificial gravity through the centrifugal force distributed outwards from the center. The ring-like station's spinning pushes them down onto the floor. You'd mainly feel the spin in the center ship. Glad to see y'all loving this movie!
ok. now you´ve just became my best channel! you guys react like all the rest of us around the world! it´s crazy to see! hope you keep the great work!

And congratulations on reaching 32K you will be at 100K Subs soon!! 💙 I can explain this to them if they want I understand it very well I wouldn't mind at all.. it's the future advanced humans not aliens that built that fifth dimension so that they can save Cooper to save humanity
