Kudos to Babu for recognizing an amazing job of acting by Heath Ledger as the Joker.
Just imagine how pumped Raeen would have been if he had seen Batman Begins first. 🤔😎
Last week they released the video of "Batman begins," but I think they saw it after "the dark knight." I didn't understand.
@@CalmBrook it was an honest mistake. They didn’t realize Batman Begins came first til after they’d already watched Dark Knight.
Remember being in awe of heath ledgers performance seeing him as the joker for the first time? It's nice to see Babu have the same reaction.
15:54 in the comics the Joker said "sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another. If I have an origin, I'd prefer it be multiple choice"
Cus comics are extremely patronizing to their readers. What they really mean is: they want to make money by selling the origin story yet again.
@@ashscott6068orrrr they wanna see what would happen if a character had multiple instead one like Batman getting his parents unalived, Spider-Man uncle unalived, just for them to realize that having one consistent origin is still better than multiple.
The thing that separates Batman from most other superheroes is he doesn't have super powers. He's just rich smart & brave.
They found that out in Batman Begins. They watched begins after tdk, out of order.
So is Tony Stark! 😆
When it comes down to it Batman is defined by his willpower and discipline. When everything's exhausted and it seems there's no way forward, he's the guy who took the time to train obscure skills and knowledge to overcome, and he's confident enough to commit to an action without choking or freezing under pressure.
Batman took the phrase "measure twice, cut once" and turned it into his entire personality.
Well i meanthe comics its a bit more complicated, hes definitely not the average mortal.

R.I.P. Heath Ledger
He was a legend. His performance is iconic

When the elder did the jokers head tilt 🤣🤣💀
**Joker laughing like a manic when killing the Batman impersonator**
Babu: HAHAHA HE IS SUCH A BASTARD!!
🤣🤣🤣
Both batman and the joker are very memorable characters.
I sometimes wish at the end the peraon behind the camera could give them more context.
He recently replied to a comment where he says he'll do it from future onwards.
I love how the young guys rip on Babu every time a pretty girl shows up or gets kissed when they’re the ones enthralled. 😂
They roast the poor old man everytime 😂
Babu is enjoying
I have been watching your videos for a couple years now. Please put an album together of the elderly man's songs. As strange as it is, I love the ending of all your videos where he sings. I was once an idealist who believed in humanity. Over time I became a nihilist. I have been discarded, ignored, spit on, mocked, ridiculed, laughed at, beat up, along with unmentionables because I was born with a severe mental illness. I grew to hate and despise humanity for all it is. I was about to end it all, when I stumbled across my first watched video of yours. For some unknown reason, watching these videos and hearing his singing in the end of each video gives me momentary peace. Thank you more than you will ever know. You have saved many lives because of your videos. As the one guy says near the end, "I salute you times 10". You show me that there is still yet hope for humanity, even if it is a needle in a haystack.
I always look forward to Babu’s analysis and song👌…would love a First Blood or The Thing reaction.
I like how when the joker is joking, everyone thinks he's serious, but when he's being serious; everyone thinks he's joking.
Cool. Hope we can see the Classic Michael Keaton Batman to see his version of the Joker.
Why would you want to curse them with a such a thing?
Why would anyone want to see that after having seen this? The only reason most of us saw both is because this Batman movie was made later!
On TV there was a Little Rascals / Our Gang Comedy marathon. I recommend them watching the classics with the original Spanky McFarland and Stymie and the gang.
I love their reactions, so much engagement and enjoyment!
The photograph is Abraham Lincoln ! Abraham Lincoln became the United States’ 16th President in 1861, issuing the Emancipation Proclamation that declared forever free those slaves within the Confederacy in 1863.
Im not into the Batman franchise but this is probably my favourite Batman movie and the most unpredictable one of the rest! Top pick! 👌
Who cares?🤣😎
@@WiseGuy5674 Well you're on here enough to care about whatever you meant! 🤣
@@jettser17UK We’re here to watch the villages reaction. Nobody cares about what you like.😎
I care about what he likes, great comment jetster 👌🏼
There is a theory that Joker did tell his story:
"Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all 'part of the plan''".
Joker has explosive and interigation training (never start with the head) and how to plan an operation. Shrapnel-explosive could have disfigured him. He's a soldier who was extremely disilusioned
The young two are so appreciated by Americans. That's how you appreciate your elders!
I am touched that Babu loved the acting...
This group loves action movies. RIP Heath!

You know you skipped to the Video Camera 📹 Laugh 😆 to see their reaction 😅
this was a good movie to show them, I hope you do Mad Max Fury Road one day I think they would find it fascinating!
Show them Dracula from 1992, and Batman from 1989 and 1992.
Yes!
I like how every react video you guys do ; you can't understand what you're watching because you are talking about your interrogations all along xD I honestly couldn't watch a movie with you guys.
Heath Ledger Joker received a posthumous Oscar. Most people on the set were afraid of him for he performed his character way too good. Michael Caine "Alfred" was visually afraid of Heath Ledger. Aaron Eckhart Harvey Dent also known as two face.
I have read somewhere that the scene where the Joker crashes the party was the first time Michael Caine got to see the Joker. And he was supposed to deliver a line, but he was too stunned. So Heath Ledger just moved on with the scene.
@@Telruin Yes, that what I was referring to.
@@BrianBogiaBricky I have also heard that he wasn't causing problems on set. This was rumored after his passing, but I believe this has been refuted by the rest of the cast. I don't know if you are mixing up things, or you meant that they were scared of his Joker persona. But Heath Ledger was well liked I believe. Friendly when they weren't shooting.
Edit: It occurred to me that I should probably double check this. I found this quote from a Screenrant article "Caglione also said that Ledger would give big hugs to the production crew and staff at the beginning and end of each day, and was very friendly to everyone. On set, Ledger was the total opposite of the character that he played."
The guy at the party at 15:30 who says "We're not intimidated by thugs" is US Senator Patrick Leahy.
Ah their first batman experience!
Abit of an oopsie showing them this first, but should be awesome… in truth you can go into this film blind!
Hope there is a after market dub of District 9 coming in the future!

I just know Rachel Dawes/ Maggie Gyllenhaal - as the lady in White House Down.
Seen that movie many time thanks to Channing Tatum
I have a question, are these guys related? Babu seems like he's their grandfather, and they look like they are pretty close, like family.
No they're not related, but they might as well be😅
So, far they have only reacted to the blockbuster type movies mainly from Hollywood. They are missing out of many other kind of films, even action movies like Enter the Dragon or Game of Death, Jackie Chan and Sylvester Stallone's movies. It would be great to see them react to the films of Kurosawa like Seven Samurai, Satyajit Ray's Apu Trilogy, William Wyler's Ben-Hur or Kubrick's Paths of Glory.
Babu is a playa 😄

Serious movie!
These men should have seen the first movie first.
I always felt that Heath Ledger's Joker carried this film for me. Gotham itself visually looked like Chicago and lost alot of it's personality, tone, and unique architectural designs from Batman Begins. Batman himself moved closer to being a Ninja with his Batsuit becoming much tighter and slim while for some reason they made the Bat symbol blend into the suit making it harder to see. Two-Face was pretty underused and his story felt rushed, sucks they killed him off. And overall I felt that Nolan tried too hard to "ground" Batman which in return removed alot of the personality from the comics and other media.
The Batman (2021) proved that you can have a visually unique Batman film with a very Gothic Revival meets Art Deco city and still have it feel real. Even Batman 1989 felt real, there's crazier cities that exist or have existed on Earth so backed by lore I don't see how a hyper Gothic meets Art Deco city trapped between the 1930s and 1980s couldn't exist. For me as long as a film is backed by logical lore then it's believable to me and that's why I'm always a little hard on the Nolan Batman films for just being a little bland visually.
But overall amazing story I just prefer Batman Begins myself, Mask of the Phantasm is my personal favourite Batman film.
I want them to watch Kill Bill 2. In this film, master Pai Mei says interesting things about eating food with hands. 😉
They definitely need to see Catwoman now!!

And yes, Joker is wildly clever. I had a military officer talking to me about the movie. He said that Joker is so successful, because he plans his missions backwards.

Too bad they confused "Night" as time of day with "Knight" meaning warrior of justice, it would have been better if they understood the title to mean "the dark warrior of justice"
Yeah I get where you are coming from but I do feel like that got enough of the themes associated with the "play on words" that I think they aren't missing a lot without that context. They understand he went through a transformation. That he was a "darker" character and not peachy clean but still quickly realized he was the good guy and as fun Joker was, he was the bad guy.
Ah

I always felt this film should end when Joker is caught, all the stuff after, with two face bores me, makes it too long, overall I think Batman Begins is the tighter film, with this one mainly getting high praise because of Ledger's iconic performance.
It's literally one scene which isn't that long and literally was being built up along with Joker scene so it would be awkward to not show it, Literally how Batman becomes the Dark Knight....the central arc in the movie. Whatever, your opinion lol.
Next-"Reel steel", "Independence Day", "Charlie and the chocolate factory" (2004), "How to train your dragon", "Zootopia".
The Batman 2022
Definitely NOT Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Its just Tim Burton creepiness without the charm of the original. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was far better, and Gene Wilder was better than Johnny Depp.
The old film is already a little outdated.

Unfortunately they did miss the end, that Batman took the blame for Harveys victims, so Harvey could be officially innocent and be a paragon for the people. Which was more important than Batman beeing a hero and Harvey getting punished for his crimes.
They got it eventually, check 50:14
Most of what you said it true. But I think you missed a detail or two.
If the city found out what Harvey had done, then his credibility would have been shattered, and every single criminal that he locked up would be freed. It would be like if the Professor who wrote the RICO law would be compromised and every single New York mobster would be set freed.
But it is true that Harvey will also be seen as a symbol for the Police Department and people would gain the trust of the Police Department again.

I wish they were told about Heath Ledger. It’s still sad when I think about the fact that he did his best performance to date. I know he was a big deal before the Dark Knight, but he would have been on a different elite level as an actor if he survived. Even more crazy, he was only 28, RIP.

Right from the start too
If they have not yet watched the 3rd film, it would be nice for you to give them a little recap of what the 2 movies where so that they understand the story of the 3rd one. Is not that easy to follow and since you showed them this movie before the 1st it can be even more confusing :)
I doubt he will since that hasn't seemed to be done with any of the other films they've watched unfortunately. I still enjoy watching their reactions, but I'm pretty certain that a lot of the complexities of the story in this trilogy are lost on them.
The third movie relates more to the first movie than to the second though. So seeing the 1st and then the 3rd makes the 3rd even easier to follow.
I had a choice between watching a Hollywood movie and this. I'm still here.
Heath Ledger's Joker is the greatest piece of acting in any movie, 10/10
loved this reaction, but the one thing I was disappointed about was that "sir" should have told them at the end that Heath Ledger who played the Joker, died before the film premiered and won an academy award in his honor. I only say this because they spoke so highly of his performance and i feel they are the only people who are unaware of this fact, and i speak for everyone here when i say that if you havent already filmed the dark knight rises, you should take a moment to tell them.
I agree but I like the fact(I assume) they had some time to just relish in his greatness before attaching the obvious sad part, which shouldn't be ignored especially since the rest of us knew that before seeing the movie when it came out. Something about just seeing people impressed without the sadness feels nice.
Another great reaction, up to the final one.
In the end of the movie they didnt understood how the network of connected all mobile phones using live audio recording to created sonar to see everything just like a bat does, I hope you can explain it to them as its just such an awesome detail.
I had a friend who grew up to be a complete psychopath. It was really sad, but he would push people (especially me) to their limits just to see how they'd react. This movie hit me because I recognized the anger that those people can create. I remember a moment when he pushed me to my limits and I threw him to the ground and stood over him with my fist raised, but couldn't bring myself to hurt him because in that last moment I knew that he wanted me to hurt him because of the reprecucions that it would bring apon myself. The world would be better without that person in it and one day someone will probably kill him, but the fact that he wanted it so badly to be me was the only thing that kept me from doing it. There's nobody more dangerous than a nihilistic psychopath because they want you to be them and they will stop at nothing to make that dream a reality. It's disgusting, and they are often the people that rule the world because our most poweful systems reward that type of behavior.
Your friend is an ENFP. It's just a personality type. They do this type of stuff quite often.

Just because we don’t show emotions outwardly and think they get in the way of logic (which is true). People acting out of emotion are most likely to be acting irrationally. Example, 9/11. 3000 civilians died so we invade two countries which arguably had nothing to do with it. In fact, it was the CIA who funded, trained, and armed the hardliners and Bin Laden. But acting out of emotion, we let sociopaths destroy two countries so they could make a fortune in selling things to the military and oil.
