My truck is an '04 with a manual transmission which also has cooler lines, however they are of the screw in variety found in the '03 and '04. But this video is perfectly complimentary for that swap and I used it step by step. The only other difference being the Fluid used is Mercon V in this instance. I did read somewhere that not all Manual Trannys have cooler lines.

No dumb questions brother! I’ve had problems out of both. I personally prefer the aluminum ones from Mishimoto.
