I love this amazing little girl.. so much soul in this child. Janis Joplin lives on. Its as if Joe Cocker and Janis had a love child. Now id like to give credit where credit is due. This is not nor ever was a Black Crows song. They did an an incredible job on this song. For people with no knowledge of R& B this was an Otis Redding song. Hes a tough act to follow. The Black Crows did the song justice. They put their own stank on it and that couldnt have come at a better time. There had been a long dry spell of R&R with an R&B foundation. Grunge and the seattle sound had been consuming the air waves. The world was ready for a reminder that R&B wasnt dead. The Black Crows had a large part in doing that.

Loved it! But for those who don't watch the show, what does it mean when Howie hit that button?
If i remember right, she gets sent straight to the finals. Each judge gets a certain amount of times to press the buzzer and send people to the final round. After that, anyone that didn't get the golden buzzer goes through the rounds like normal, competing to make it to the finals.
So, Heaven finally decided to give us Janis back. Now we just need Aretha, Whitney and Amy
