  • I planned to go out and fly al day but as soon as I got in the car it was 4:00 so I thought I would get a sunset pic, vid , lapse ECT. But then occurred to me I could just make a video about getting sunset Timelapse's. So Thats how I spent my evening today Jan-26-2022. Hope you all enjoy.
    I had My A7IV with Tamron 17-28 f2.8
    Powerdewize Lav mic
    a Tripod
and My DJI Air 2s equipped with a Clear polarized lens.

Awesome video! I've had my Air 2s a while now and havent really gotten to do much with it, I want to try the hyperlapse option next time I go up, also what memory card do you have? 9999+! I need that one.

Sandisk Extreme 128 gig. I go for the Sandisk cuz they are very reliable and 128 gigs is a good size especially if you have a few, I have never filed one up in a day I may throughout the day on a big video with lots of shots end up using 40 gigs. also the sandisk extremes can write and read at the speeds you need for these drones like the Air 2s 150mps or the Mavic 3 lines and now even the Mini's. The cards are about $30 but you can find them cheaper and often on sale. Oh and make sure its a "micro SD card" but you know that :)
      Hope this helps!

I usually change my capture intervals to one snap every 3 seconds. I'm glad that bird didn't take out your drone. Well done Jeff.

Thanks I have been doing 1 sec intervals for some of that fast moving clouds. Just made a new one too yesterday

Thank you for the video. Got a little nervous when I saw those birds flying nearby.
I can’t count how many times birds have tried to attack my drones but usually I can maneuver out of their way. Timelapse must be difficult because obviously, you’re stationary.

yeah birds don't seem to like anything mechanical in the air

When you have birds trying to attack the drone, the best way to lose them, is straight up full speed! No bird can go up that fast. Then, when it's clear, get back down and just gth out from that spot to be honest :)

When I attempt to do this with my Air 2S it auto pans to the right after every picture. ending up with a right panning hyperlapse. I want it to stay stationary as in this video. Any help? I cannot find a solution on the internet. it only does this in hyperlapse free mode. under all other flights it holds stationary. #help

Try calibrating your Air 2s's IMU and Compass, you can find it in the settings menu follow the steps, also how many sat alights are you linked to when you're trying this? it is on the display when flying. they the first 2 things and then take it for a test flight, hover 10 feet for under craft optical sensors(maybe wipe them) then at 100 feet the optical sensors won't be able to sense the ground but the on board gps should keep you stationary, at this point check how many satellites your connected to. Check if the craft needs a firmware update(also in the settings menu of the DJI Fly app. Next step would be to call DJI. HIT ME UP after you try this. Especially the IMU, COMPASS, FIRMWARE all 3 should be checked. Good luck friend.

@@JeffDalziel I doubt any of that is it. Every other flight and mode works fine. Circle and course lock work fine. You can watch it take a picture then pan right, take a picture and pan right, take a picture and pan right. Over and over again. It has to be a setting.

hmmm... This is pointI may reach out to DJI for some insite(call them 1 818 235 0789) if the number doesn't help which it has always for me try emailing Support@dji.com. But yes there are settings and different hyper lapse modes you could look into. Sorry this is happening to you. @@Kieffik
