Jesus, man you're a goddamn genius! I was trying to find out how to edit my hyperlapses to make look just like the one you made in this video, and I finally did, thank you thank you
Very well done presentation. For someone who is new to operating the Air 2S the inclusion of information on how each step was accomplished was excellent. I look forward to more videos.
Awesome video, thank you for making it! You saved me a lot of time doing trial and error. I also really like the editing style you use on your videos. Thanks!
Really slick looking footage. It's worked to a point you think it's CGI for a moment, then realize that nope, it's reality, just beautifully enhanced and presented.
So I tried this tonight and I got the coolest shot of downtown Atlanta. I don’t have any Adobe products so I used Final Cut instead and adjusted the duration down to 1 for all the frames and then I combined them into a single compound clip. From there I did the color grading which applied across the entire thing, changed the scale to 133.33 to get rid of the black border on the side…and viola…I was done. I can’t thank you enough!!! I’ve only had my drone for 2 weeks and with your tutorial I feel like a pro.
Awesome! Thanks for covering the safety / certification stuff up front too... flying a drone at night is NOT something people should be doing without proper equipment and training.
Great vid dude! Was told by many people that the Air2S cannot shoot via waypoints! Glad to see this is not the case! Will check out some of your other vids and tutorials!
@@ChadB thanks man, hoping DJI will do an update at some point that allows waypoints to be used elsewhere, but for now the Hyperlapse will do just fine :)
Hey Chad I randomly clicked this video and I am very impressed with your calm demeanor and very clear ways to explain how to do these edits. Would love if you one day did videos of how to get started with video editing software such as Final Cut and show the basics for people new to video editing software. You would be incredible at it.
A most excellent, thoughtful and detailed tutorial. Thank you! Also important I learned from you, is to make sure you're physically close to the area you want to record hyperlapse since it needs so much time (and battery) to take all the shots.
@@ChadB I have a follow up question for you, if I may... It seems that even with a fresh battery and close proximity to the way points, you may still not be able to capture the full ten seconds you want... Is it possible/feasible, to stop the hyperlapse at the mid point, retrieve the drone for a battery refresh and then edit the way points and re-send the drone to more or less "pick up where it left off"? For example, let's say that the first leg of the three point hyperlapse between point one and point two has completed. Would it be possible to retrieve the drone from the middle point, put in a fresh battery, edit the way point to remove the original starting point and have it return to way point two and then on to three to complete the shoot? I noticed that the way point file has an option for editing, so I was just wondering...
I don't think you can pause it mid flight to change batteries. Also, I'm not sure if the gps will be that accurate to put you in the exact same spot (to the inch) where you left off. I'm sure there would be a gap or skip in the end product.
@@ChadB : Could you - perhaps - do a video explaining what is that 107 drone certification all about, and details what is this test all about and what it entails to take and pass one ? I am sure lot of people would appreciate such video. Thank you !
I've messed around with the Hyperlapse feature in the past, but never really know there were so many features you could adjust. Great tutorial and I love your final product.
Looks awesome! I started to feel overwhelmed with the process. But I'm brand new to this drone stuff, and more importantly editing.. I'm sure it just take time. Thanks for taking some to show the rookies.
I just found your channel, and subscribed. This is something I’ve been wanting to try. Luckily I’m part 107 certified so that’s one obstacle out of the way.

Awesome hyperlapse instructional. Night hyperlapse are the coolest.

Really slick looking footage. It's worked to a point you think it's CGI for a moment, then realize that nope, it's reality, just beautifully enhanced and presented.
Thanks you. This video was rendered in 24fps. The hyperlapse looks even more CG in 30fps.
