Wheelers At Large are out cycling again this time back in the New Forest with Dorset Grit and Gravel on a Sunday morning group ride, which as always is a No-Drop ride. Although we all got dropped by an eBiker in the group 🤣👍
Help us fuel the rides with coffee ☕. - www.buymeacoff...
Julie is riding her @LivCyclingWorld Invite with @elitewheelscycles Carbon wheels.
Mike is riding a @RideGiantBicycles Revolt 0 with @elitewheelscycles carbon wheels.

Sat at home watching this in 20mph Wales, because its just constant strong blustery winds and rain.
It's very Welsh weather here too now... We've had some good rides but not a great year for riding. Hoping for a dry winter.🤣
I think Mr Whippy must've had his Tractor Beam switched off there Mike!
Days like that are great - showers then warm sunshine - even better when you're somewhere like the New Forest with all the smells and views.
Great stuff!
It is an amazing place. Very lucky that it's rideable in most conditions too. How's the water situation now, hopefully starting to catch up again with the rain we've had?
Ah well it's good news! South West Water have announced the hosepipe ban will end on the 25th of this month. Why the 25th and not immediately or whatever I don't know, but there we go. I used to use a pressure washer (carefully I might add!) but have got so used to washing the bikes by hand now I may carry on. It's kind of more therapeutic!
..when Mike opened with "duck"" I immediately thought "quack"
😄 yes Julie missed her cue there, thanks for filling in 👍
Good to see you back out there and happy you're recovered Julie! Fun times and great ride 🥰
Thanks Joy!😊 Yep, back out on the trails👍🚴🏾♀️🚴🏾♀️🚴🏾♀️ love the new forest trails,! Enjoy your cycling too! 🚴🏾♀️
Thanks Julie and hope you're better soon. Heard you got a cold, please take care so we can see you back out there 🥰👏👏🏾@@julie-wheelersatlarge
@@joydwaddell6771 colds are horrid 🤧, I lost my voice for a day or so too.... Gave Mike a bit of peace and quiet🤣
Great fun.
It always is 😁
Well done Mike, Julie and crew, lot of you today.
Pleased you are in recovery mode and feeling better after your incident Julie.
Weather back to normal now windy and rain.
Have yourselves a wonderful week
Thanks Terry, yes, normql service resumed. Wind rain and getting chillier! Can't we keep summer all year round?😂. Enjoy your cycling too.😁
The good thing when your personal mechanic rides along but you were fine. The looked like it's ready to start raining in any minute but eventually it turned out a pretty nice day. That breakfast looked good, is that was a coffee or a tea with milk? Another nice ride. 👍
Usually coffee on a ride and tea after when we get home. Tea is more refreshing. Cheers for watching Thomas👍
Love the impromptu bike stand
Hanging it by the saddle from a tree branch is also an option but it swings around a bit 😁👍
KERB! 😂
😄 I think she got the message but you can never be too careful 👍
@Mike..the look on your face at 9.46 made me smile...I felt your pain brother 🤪
That was a moment, fortunately my will to keep moving overcame 🤣
Sorry guys I think the correct spelling is kerb , same here in Australia ,New Zealand .
😁 TH-cam auto generated captions... KERB!
A little drissely for my taste. Looked like fun though!
You know the rule Dan, as long as it's not raining when we leave we take our chances 😁 this summer has been difficult with the unpredictable weather for sure but we've still managed to enjoy some great rides. 👍 Cheers for your support
Well, that looked like a lot of fun.
You are lucky having those lovely New Forest gravel trails.
Yes John, and the best thing is they're reliable in pretty much all weather so we can get an off-road ride in all year round. Cheers 👍
😂 wet butt's, mud strip's down the backside ,some much fun .good onya girl you got a yeehaa in and a reminder from Mike about those bloody curbs .Luv your videos
Haha! Yes we did have some good muddy fun Chris. Yeah he'd better shout 'curb' from now on! 😁👍😂
It all looks so effortless. Can i ask a general question, which you might have covered ?
Looking at the riding mix of lite gravel and tar what tyre size and type, and your preferred pressure?
Julie has 38mm Graveling EXT and I'm using 45mm Cintaurato M at 36psi on gravel. Thanks for watching 👍

The New Forest looks just perfect for a gravel bike, think I need to plan a visit (when it's dry!)
We'd be very happy to show you around 👍
