  • I am a big fan of Rattan ebikes! And they just released an awesome new set of front and rear racks for both the LM500 and LM750 series of electric bikes.
    This review, I dive into these new racks, the over quality of the LM750 and finally I answer if it can handle all-terrain snow riding!
    Watch this video for more stats on the bike:
    • Folding E-bike Holiday...
    750w rear hub motor
    The 750w hub motor provides strong torque at a maximum speed of 23mph, allows you to ride the ebike at ease without a load even the power goes off. Enough acceleration get you a few extra minutes of sleep at home, even if you're running late, because LF 750 will fly you to your destination.
    48v 13ah battery
    The 48v 13ah battery continuously delivers energy to high-speed motors to maintain high speed for back and forth throughout the day. Remove the battery with the key and charge it at your home or office. Safer and easier.
    Foldable frame
    LF750 is foldable, easy to store and easy to get around. You can put it into your car and with the LM750 in the trunk and take them out with your family. Or go everywhere you would like to go with neighbors and friends. Tomorrow is a fine day, why not go out for a walk?

    Thanks for the review and test. Darn, I was hoping for a smaller rack style front one. It looks oversize in front.

    The rear rack looks more than large enough to hold a second battery. Am I seeing it correctly? (obviously a cargo net and/or bungee cord to hold it all in place)
    I actually do need two battery to get where to and from where I go and the Velcro-strap saddle bags just ain't cutting it.
    I was thinking Wald until I saw in the Facebook group that these FINALLY came out and saw they're not just heavier duty but specifically engineered for the bike.

    Hi Larry, I put on my racks today, my front rack keep unplugging headlight wire, have you had any issues with that. I'm Ann Arbor kid, just blocks from the Big House

    • @larryl
      @larryl  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! Not too far from me! But no I have not had that issue. Perhaps you can un-velcro the main cable fabric and try to reroute it?

    Hi, I have been cycling rattan since this summer. Can you please tell me what is the minimum temperature the battery can take? Like your first hand experience. -5? -10? Did you have any problems with the battery?

    • @larryl
      @larryl  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had it always above 0 degrees. Usually 15 at the coldest. I bet it can handle more but the range will take a hit

    Oops one more question... how are the brakes? are the mechanical brakes good enough? Torn between this and the Gforce .. like the Rattan grip accelerator, Gforce has a bigger battery option 20ah and hydraulic brakes, but a thumb throttle. Never owned an ebike, still in research phase 😁

      20ah is really nice. I have not personally rode that bike, but anything over 15ah is overkill on most ebikes, I would say. (But I do love when things are overkill, lol way more fun)
      If you’re looking for something with nicer breaks and even an air suspension front, maybe explore the polarna M6. I found that bike to be very nice as well.
      All that said I still think rattan 750 is one of my favorite all around ebikes. It’s got power, quality is pretty good overall( all these china bikes could be a little better, but you know how it goes), good pedal assist for long rides, tons of upgrade options, battery is good for an easy 20mi easy on full power(more on PA)…
      I like the rattan so much I am going to stock it in my new ebike store that I am opening next month. Just bought a ton of them lol!

    Couple Questions... does it still fold with the racks on? and do you think you can fit 2 in your model Y? I have the exact same car, same color even 😁

    • @larryl
      @larryl  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have 100% fit it in my model y, no problem!
      However I took the front rack off. But with just the back rack, it still folds great and fits in the Y!

    Doesn't the battery power wear out faster in the cold?

    • @larryl
      @larryl  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Big time like half the usual range. Just make sure when you’re not out in the cold, you store the battery in a safe, climate controlled area
