Mine goes 28mph out the box downhill speed gone over 40 mph. 5th gear

From what I have read on Rattan e-bike group on FB: The older LM-750s are better because P8 could be set as high as 51km/h, and the new ones I believe are limited to around 33km/h and P8 doesn't work or doesn't change anything with the new displays. I have an old M5 black-and-white display on my 2 yr-old LM-750 bike. It sounds like Rattan is not doing a good job with quality control and making sure display settings work with new controller, etc.

One reviewer was able to get 28mph? Is there a way to unlock a higher speed, especially a higher Throttle only speed?

Mine just broke I have. Full charge but it won’t accelerate past 8mph there’s no acceleration
