British designers create the most comfortable looking houses. They are confident designers who dont give a hoot whether others like it or not. Go girl! ❤
Love her use of color in the kitchen and sunroom. I couldn't imagine getting a restful sleep in that bedroom, however.
Yes!! I love maximalism and eclectic style, but that bedroom just seemed like it was trying way too hard, without a pleasing result

This is totally my kind of house ! I've always enjoyed watching Sophie and her solar energy... and this house is stellar !
I just love everything about it, but especially how well the patterns and colors are mixed together in a bold, yet *extremely* cohesive way. This oozes warmth, practicality and comfort, but not in an either sterile (minimalist) nor overbearing (maximalist) way. British design is clearly on another level !!!
I would move over the pond in a heartbeat to learn design from her

Love Sophie’s use of color. The conservatory is sumptuous. I’m not a fan of wallpaper but her patterns are pretty. Genuine lady, love her authenticity.

That pattern on pattern on pattern bedroom is horrendous, but fun to see her do it, so I know not to make the same mistakes. I like the forest wallpaper in the other room though
I think the headboard would be beautiful in a solid blue or green. It would also give your eyes a place to rest.
Agree - I love the rest of the house. The headboard in the principal bedroom is a bit of one step too far

Dekton is NOT a printed ceramic. It's a mixture of recycled stone, porcelain, and minerals. She has it correct, it is extremely durable.
Is Dekton expensive or hard to find? I've never heard of it

The headboard doesn’t work for me. I am an artist and also Lv color. Tired of the all white living rooms.
That bedroom. I just would Never. It is just too many completely contrasting patterns that make the room toooooo busy!! No place to rest your eyes. To each his/her own.

I think Sophie's House is beautiful and homely.
She's Always liked her Colour so she's not trying to be Anything but HERSELF.
