I have to say: I watch a lot of similar videos and I've never fallen so in love with a home before. The colors, the warmth, the design. The lady presenting it seems so lovely and genuine. The attention to detail and the love that went behind designing every space in this home shines through. I love everything about it.
I did so enjoy nosing around ... the colour palette is so different from what one typically sees in a "designed" home and it was wonderful to see the art, furniture and textile pieces that it drew from. There was so much going on, and yet it made such a rich and harmonious whole. I think it takes real skill and artistry to use colour with such confidence and have the result being so warm and vibrant but also calm and cohesive, and so clearly a deeply personal expression linked to all the loved treasures, family pieces, and textile collections. Thank you so much for showing us through - it is inspiring.
I love Margo Shelby's textile designs. I wouldn't have expected anything less from her own home interior. I am in the process of designing my own apartment, and when I fell in love with one of her pillow covers, I had to change the entire colour palette to go with the pillow.
My favourite house of all time. It is a home that holds the things they love, not an Instagram staged design set, and it shows. I love the space, maybe not my colour choices, but exactly what l would expect of a textile designer.
Wow, Margo is living in my dream home. I’m currently saving for a Margo Shelby rug and it’s just lovely to see how all those rich, beautiful colours can be used in perfect harmony. Thank you.
What I most loved is seeing different styles thrown successfully together. I thought "This is the difference between those perfectly designed interiours that look like showrooms, that look 'bought' ... and a house that is actually and organically created (lovingly) by someone who lives there. Somehow, you cannot fake it. The two FEEL distinctly different, one from the other. This house is absolutely lovely ... and surprising! A house SHOULD surprise, in a really warm and comfortable way. I especially loved the Indian painted panels with the modern Anne Kyyrö Quinn cushions. Wonderful. Thank you!!!
I loved it all !so intricate, beautiful and functional. I especially liked the kitchen plant light, the working studios to spread out and work in as the children sleep ! The comfort of textiles and art works (including your great aunt’s work and fragments all around. The green tiles and all of the bathroom. I would have loved to see the garden beyond too!👀👀 Oh yes, I really like your mum living separately yet really close.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Not only is the house beautifully designed, warm, and welcoming, but so is its owner. As a fellow lover of color, texture, and individuality, I found it inspiring and encouraging for my own creative ideas. Thank you for sharing-it was a truly delightful journey through such a beautiful home.
This is amazing. I love seeing incredible design that uses a very different design elements than I would choose, but is so perfectly realized. An inspiration!
The art, wall colors, and green Moroccan tile are simply gorgeous. And the glass walls that let in the light and bring the garden in, is lovely architecture
Would you have a picture of Christ or Mary in your bathroom? The bathroom cabinet is sacrilegious! If your husband is a dealer of this furniture he should know better. Please remove it from the bathroom.

Wow. She balanced those rich colors in the home so beautifully. ❤
Dear madam your aura is so gorgeous that I hardly focused on home tour. You are a bubbling source of beautiful energy.

what a dream of a house, and the studios.... 🔥
I just love how she's able to play the patterns and colors off of each other. Stellar home! TFS!
A lovely, exciting yet comfortable home, and Margo seems completely unpretentious. What a talented couple. Really enjoyed this one.

Haha the book debate, my hubby prefers function, while I prefer aesthetic.
❤🙏
Lots of money there!
I am sure she is a wonderful person; but this interior is really nothing special. Scraping the barrel?
