I popped into a bar a couple of years ago one lunchtime to get something to eat. They had the BBC News on and I remember thinking what would be my perception of the World if I watched this every day? Sometimes you need to be outside to see inside. Some beautiful places in the UK and I really miss the countryside sometimes but in all honesty everyday life doesn’t look like much fun. Cheers
I agree with sometimes having to be on the outside to see within! We had our rose-tinted holiday glasses on. The day-to-day reality would be so different. BBC is awful but people also do it with non-stream media too.
That cracking video, Bonnie lad. Slightly disappointed you did not see Ant & Dec. And no Pan Haggerty for dinner( lunch to you from down sarf) Durham is beautiful.
Ah, you know me, this video was not planned. I was going to do a grand, spectacular tour of Durham Cathedral but it didn't pan out. Cracking video? Kind of just feels like mental illness still putting videos up at this stage.... Not far off three years of this nonsense mate!! I'm like the Millwall song 😂😂
None of the BIG videos came off mate (actually, one did - Bamburgh Castle - but my editing motivation has temporarily left me): Durham Cathedral was closed (I planned a much longer vid there and did research); we didn't get to York, Whitby or Edinburgh as planned, and I have 'missplaced' my footage of Hadrian's Wall. I was the designated driver, so I mainly made sure the Mrs. and boy were happy, with one eye on my sister and one on my Mum. Oh well... the best laid plans of mice and men.....
Just recently discovered your channel mate, and loving it! I found you through an interest in East BKK but now you've taken me to Northern England. Keep up the good work.

@@JBWanders73 I love the Nort East, but not the weather. Keep up the good work and I might let you beat me at snooker. Dear Diary.
Dang shame all the way to Durham and the Cathedral is closed to visitors. Would you like to me a member?😭
