As a DIYer i Always wonder if i can use it to something else then the original purpose too. In this case i wonder if its possible to use it as high pressure cleaner or even inflator using some adaptors?
I have run pretty muddy water in it with two different screens on the suction. I just use a normal "paint" strainer and one that sits inline in place of the rubber washer. It seems fine as long as you clean it out. The pump parts are plastic, so I would stay away from sand if possible.
You can’t do unlimited hose length and expect the stamped rating. The rating is prob zero head and no vertical suction to maximize the stat. Like HP ratings it’s all under ideal conditions.
Can this pump be used to pump water into a pressure washer set-up? Wondering if it stops pumping when the pressure washer is not? Maybe not explaining it right, but hope you know what I mean
I would advise against it, though the volatility of diesel is really low compared to gas, the fins of the pump are plastic and will probably become brittle after a short time.
Just got mine today time to see if it'll work in the way I need it to

I am really interested in this fluid pump. How does it cope with dirty water and the occasional sand/grit? Any feedback would be appreciated

IT HAS A SMALL HEAD LIFT.
Can it be used to transfer corrosive liquid?

The pump pumps when it is on. There is no pressure switch.
I'm trying to figure this out too if it maintains pressure while while valved
th-cam.com/video/-wPumh3ydos/w-d-xo.html this video might help he does connect valves to it.
Do you have to prime the pump?
No you dont
No you don’t
Can this be used in Diesel Transfer.

It is rated for water.
Been watching reviews a lot of guys say they've been using it for diesel and oil. But more than likely Milwaukee will void the warranty
The impeller is made from Nitrile which stands up good to diesel and oils. There are cheap Chinese impellers which are no good for fuels and oils
How much?
Could it pump up hill.
Say about 50 feet .Not straight up
At a slight incline..
The manual says 75 foot head. That would be the height when it pumps nothing.
What's the maximum lift on this thing? Is it only 18" for real?
It's 18' of lift (18 feet)
Try not to lay the battery on its side while in the dirt
pump will run longer with high demand 9ah battery
That stands to reason.
Will a 9.0 fit on the housing?
The 9.0 isn't much taller than an XC battery, it is longer though, if anything you might have to leave the battery door open.
@@LKN4WAR yes, fits fine. Newer models fit the 12ah too.
Perfect púmp
I like it
If you’re going to make videos get a tripod.
You still watched it? Besides; some guys still makes vids for fun, not making a living out of it, and thank God for that!
