Hello Ryo, I like your Videos and I like your work with fish and plants....and I see a lot of passion for this wonderfull Hobby. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany.
Oh I love the stainless steel sink, it really looks fantastic in your fish room which I don't even want to call a fish room anymore! Now it's a showroom!! It's so classy, elegant, and really looks like a professional proper Aquascape gallery!! I've been watching along and every video it gets better and better!! I definitely say this sink a must have!! I was amazed at how simple it was to put together!! I think the water heater was a great idea too!! You definitely need that for water changes and cleaning!! You should be very proud of what you've done there!! You have taken the time to really think everything through and working the space you have!! I look so forward to more videos and updates! I hope you and your family are having a very blessed day!!🙏🌿🐟🌿♥️💚✨🥰
The new sink looks great! I bet it’s a game changer! Depending on the space after mounting the filtration system, you might consider getting a cart with locking wheels as a portable workstation instead of a smaller shelf/countertop.
Thanks for the idea, though I’m not really a fan of those carts with wheels. Not sure why, maybe it just looks a bit cheap to me and I see others using it too. Maybe I’ll grow to like them someday 😅
You could add a hinge under neath the narrow counter you install with a board attached to it and a leg that folds out so if you ever need space to prep plants or clean a filter or something you would have it then that part could collapse flush against the wall. That way you still have the narrow counter to keep things on permanently.
Hi Ryo from Texas! I love your videos! Another option could be a triangular shelf in that same space. Start at the same width of the sink and end at the width of that post. Sending you lots of love and blessings!!! 💕
I’ve been watching your videos for about a year from houston, Texas and it’s awesome seeing you progress and the fish room come together! Keep it up brother!
I love that little sink. I think it’s perfect for the fish room. And it’s interesting how you describe your love for the wood grain…I was thinking and feeling the same. Your fish room is really a little slice of nature.
@Ryo Wantanabe I'm so glad I found your channel. I've been binge watching your videos and you qenuine calmness and Mello tone just gets me in a great mood. Thank you
I think you made the perfect choice also as far as an area to store fish food and possibly chemicals and things like that a inexpensive kitchen spice rack works very well, they can be bought here in the states very inexpensively at yard sales some inexpensive hooks anywhere on your rack could serve as a place for your nets, your tank stands look great I prefer the natural wood grain look also have a good week
You are indefatigable as usual, Ryo. The sink is certainly no mistake. Is your filtered tap water delivering the chemistry you need, or would you consider adding reverse osmosis filtration? In general the fish room looks great. I'm wondering if you will create a space in it to chill out and enjoy it.
Love the addition of the sink and water heater. Definitely makes water changes easier for you. By the way. Is there a tutorial video on how you have the attachments setup on your water filter, including the hose for filling ?
Hi there, I'm Nadine from the U.K. I really enjoy your videos. How about making a pop up side of sink work top? Kind of like a caravan table which you have on hinges and you lift it up and pull a baton out to secure it, then fold it back down against the wall when not in use?
In the RV world they often have counters (particle board covered in Formica/plastic) that hinge on a wall or your sink stand and then fold out of the way, in just a few moments you can fold it up with a hinged support, and put down when not in use… just my 2 cents if you need more counter top space.
I feel you man. The water is super cold in Saitama and my gas heater only heats the water at 35°C and above. I need the water at 25 so I just trickle the water in during my water change and add in an extra heater. Cool that you were able to customize yours!
Wow, that is great! This is a huge step up. I LOVE the colors of the fish room, the natural look. VERY refreshing. i'm so over gray and black. lol. The only thing that didn't thrill me was that the carpenter put a big board right across your window. Kind of ruins the best view. But otherwise its wonderful. Keep up the great work. And I agree on the small countertop. GREAT IDEA.👏
Yes thanks for the feedback! I don’t like that wooden board too but it was necessary :( at least it’s a nice light brown color. My wooden holder for the brine shrimp hatchery is the same color so it matches. And I can make my counter top the same color to make it all fit in.
I would suggest a wooden board over the sink, and you can store it away after used. Like one of those Japanese cutting board the fish monger uses that sits over the sink when they prepare the fish.
I think a new water-heater is the right way to go if it water that's going to make it into a fish tank, though I still worry about hardening picking up heavy metals. Very, VERY nice setup!
@@RyoWatanabee when using hot water the TDS of the hot water is usually higher than your cold, yet that is for people with hot water tanks. The instant hot water heater you use shouldn’t be a problem. There are still copper pipes coiled inside it that the flame heats that could leach, but being new it shouldn’t be a concern for several years. Best practice for now would be to let the hot water run for several minutes before connecting to your filter to flush the water sitting inside those pipes in the heater.
maybe you could install a collapsible shelf/table that will act as your countertop or built a mini table that can be removable to its place if you need a wider access to your door.
I love the sink and the new upgrades. It is looking GREAT! Do you know if they make the sink in a deeper version but the same width as the one you have?
Instead of a getting a counter top what about a painters folding table table you can put it way when not in use and maybe add laminate to the top for water protection
If you really want a counter next to the sink you could instead do a flip down/flip up counter with legs on a hinge so that you can have more space when you need it but otherwise leave your entryway open.
I am from Singapore. Miss you here. When you coming back ? In Singapore, thing not as easy available as Japan. Especially the wooden rack . I like it alot. Wish it is easily available and cheaper too.
I wish I can visit singapore again soon! The wooden rack is all diy. I made them all by myself. In singapore, it should be possible but I don’t know where to buy the wood. In Japan I buy the wood at the home center but I don’t think singapore has that kind of place
Hey Ryo, love your vids, what do you call the nozzle adaptor you have on that tab. Im looking for something myself since my kitchen tap doesnt have a thread to have a typical connection to a hose
Hey! I’m sorry, I don’t really know what it’s called in English. We call it a hose joint here. You can copy and paste this and it should show up on goolgle タカギホースジョイント
Hi, I'm looking to buying a golden arowana in Singapore. I seen u been ard many of the local fish shops and farms. Where do u recommend is the best arowana shop and budget friendly too.. Thanks and regards!
Hey bro this is really random but your friends pants are soo cool what is that style of pants called?? Having a sink in the fish room is a dream of mine too congratulations on your progress its awesome!! I am trying some of your plant propagation ideas thank you!!
Hy ryo,is you interested to try reef tank? I recently try moved on from fresh water to salt water dayumn its really fun,and i think its will be beautiful to placed in ur room
That 25cm long counter top will not work as you want sir. Have you thought on a triangular shaped one? largest side to sink. In what way, you will have more counter top space and will not block door space. And add some triangular shelves bellow also if you see it can work for you ;)
hello I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩, very lucky to meet you, even though we are from different countries. your video work is very beautiful, I always see it from every notification message that comes to the end of the video, I really appreciate your work, hopefully we can meet again in the latest video!.
Do you like what I got for the fish room?? Let me know what is a must have item in your fish room?
Dude, love from India to you!
💕💕💕
Excellent video, one question Ryo, does this water heater have a copper tank? Copper is dangerous to sensitive fishes and invertebrates like shrimps.
Hello Ryo, I like your Videos and I like your work with fish and plants....and I see a lot of passion for this wonderfull Hobby. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany.
A composting bin for the disposal of your plants clippings (technically outside your room, though)
@@krisnaive I am not entirely sure. I’ll have to check on that

The fish room is looking niceee.. I'm also about to start my aquascaping journey and it's because of ur vids. Wish me luck!
Thank you! Good luck to you 😊

Way to go Ryo, your fish room is really looking good man. that sink is gonna help out a lot. Good luck in all that you do.

It came out great! Lots of inspiration to take away from this video, thanks for sharing Ryo!
Oooh what a great upgrade! Glad to hear you're going to keep plants too! Philodendron brasil is another easy and colorful one I'd recommend 😊
Your fish room is truly coming along great, you should be proud of yourself, I doubt many your age could do what you've done.

Sink is a solid addition! Nice! It’s really coming together!
Thank you :)
Great addition! Should make life much easier
Yeah! So far, I love it. Wish the sink was a little deeper but that would’ve cost me double 😅

I got mine at our local home center
A miniature version of the tankless gas water heater in my house. Good deal on that sink. That's about the price of a plastic one in my area.
Can u make some mini aquarium for small space, or for badroom
Slowly but surely 👌
🍻Nice setup... 😎
Thanks!
How do you drain your tanks? The best way is to have them drilled and drain them as you fill them. Enjoyed your video. Best wishes.
What's the name of the water change thingy please. Thanks
Mines called the Ada NA Water. There’s a few different types available
Nice sink. Is collecting rainwater an option where you are?
Yeah, probably is but I don’t think it rains enough here

Make a foldable side table on the side of your sink 🙏🏻

Should have put the heater up higher put the filter underneath it and connect the hot water straight to the filter.
