Truly awesome and no one more deserving to be an Ambassador than you. With respect to the Pinarello models, they are organized like this: X series (endurance bikes, what you ride). Dogma X is the highest spec, lightest carbon, etc., then you have the X9, X7 and X5 each with slightly lower specs. F series (racing bikes, what Geraint Thomas rides). Dogma F is the top of the line, then you have the F9, F7 and F5. Grevil (gravel bike, what you ride). There are the Grevil F9, F7 and F5 models which define the bike specs. I am a Pinarello rider myself (Prince), definitely the nicest bike I have ever ridden. What I am really jealous of is the fantastic Pinarello dealer in your area. Unfortunately no Pinarello dealer near me here in the central US.
Finally took delivery of my own X7 two days ago in the same Xspeed Blue color as yours. Bloomin' heck it's one gorgeous bike. I had my local bike shop swap out the Shimano Di2 drivetrain with full SRAM Force AXS components as that's what's on my other bikes. Also added a SRAM power meter and things don't get much better. Loved the bike reviews Amy! You and Kyle are a treat to watch. 🙂
I'm pure tourist when it comes bicycle technology. This was new to me, an electric gears without electric assistance. Here in the Finland I have heard only about electric bikes with assistance. And those are very popular here. My own cycling has been mainly trips for the work, shop etc. Thank you Amy for the presentation, it was very informative and just a little bit fun 🙃
I think you have the 2 confuse, the electric gears on her bike is for changing gear, so instead of good old cable and tension, it just use tiny electric servo to change gear without messy cable and need for adjustment! A electric bike is a bike with motor that actually help turn the wheel, think of it as a bicycle with motor! so it is apple and orange!
Very amusing. My heart skipped a beat when the handlebars slammed into the top tube, yikes. Laughed when the staff took the bike off you when you got close to the Yellow one!
Amy , you can put a tube in a tubeless tyre ( if all else fails like plugging with a worm ) just got to take the valve out first ( but don’t lose it . Buy sorry to say I hate noisy free hubs .
Those waves in the wheels are actually flotation devices. When you go through a very deep puddle, they give added buoyancy to the wheels so that you can just float on the water until the wheel just hits the road surface again. So rest assured, this bike is equipped for very wet riding and I think Pinarello would appreciate it if you were to make a video demonstrating the effectiveness of this feature.
@@amy.cycling.adventures I was riding home and the headwind in the morning was horrible 🤣 I am glad I missed the hail tho that would of been unpleasant
Great review. The "clamshell" bits on the wheels are for extra strength around the spokes. Also the brakes work well too 😊. Absolutely loving your videos so truthful and to the point. Everything is cured by riding a bike.🤩
Cool review and interested to hear you favor the electric gears. Two tests rides of a bike with Di2 without gloves and I did not care for the small buttons to change gears and would worry about mis shifting when wearing gloves in the cold. I also feel more connected to the bike shifting the gears. I know all the top end group sets are moving this way and some people favor one over the other. Enjoy this great machine and stay safe on the road.
Great & funny listening to your components review seatpost stem 😂 your a trier and we love that , was quite surprised their wasn't loads correcting you - keep um coming AMY & KYLE - YES SOMEONE SPONSORE KYLE TOP LAD 👍
Nice bikes amy you cant beat italian bikes i have a couple of colnago road bikes love the orange color on the gravel bike hope you get to do some more off road soon .
Hiya! We are sponsored by them for honesty 😅I wouldn’t say it rides rough, my X7 road bike is super comfy, ridden over 6000miles on her now and had no problems, she’s defo comfy especially for the long rides ~ handles the hills well feels nice and light and feels safe on descents sticks to the road really well - it’s an endurance bike and has defo done well on all the endurance rides I’ve done, my F9 is really nice to ride too I wouldn’t say it’s rough, feels sturdy yet comfy to ride & super light on gravel so great for the hills! Kyle says his F7 is naturally more stiff and very responsive, corners well and descends well ~ more of a race geometry on this one.
I love the banter between you two! Having never owned a bike with electric bits: how do you change the batteries? Can you change the batteries, or do you plug it in to a usb port? How often? Are they easy to obtain or do you have to pay Shimano stupid amounts of wedge for more?
Cool reviews, they are both cracking bikes👍When I had my Di2 bike the battery lasted forever, only had to charge it once a year! Wish I could afford an e bike with Di2😉I will be doing lots of manual shifting shortly when I head out into the Scottish countryside😊
You get a puncture with tubeless you just tap the tubeless valve out and put your inner tube in, just like changing a normal puncture. I’m getting the blue x7 next month with sram force. You can’t compare the ride quality between tubes and tubeless it’s just that much better and they role so much better.
Thanks to the infectious Amy and long suffering Kyle, I've just traded my Giant E-bike at 23.8kg for a secondhand gravel bike. It's a Ribble CGR, weighing no more than a box of tissues. . .
You're so funny. Well done Amy; you're getting better all the time. BTW, Selle Italia "Flite" is pronounced _flight_ - it's an old school model that they've updated w/ new features.
Hm, bikes look nice, but Pinarello is a bit on the expensive side and quality is not always beyond questions. Maybe You may check channels like Hamibini, PeakTorque or MapDec. Or at least start to look there when You have to pay for Your equipement. But anyway, I like Your channel, Your serious cycling combined with good mood. That's really motivation others.

Great look at the bikes from real world user - thanks. Thinking about the X7 - do you have a weight for the 53.5cm frame with Ultegra Di2?
I think the wavey rims aid cross wind stability on a deep section wheel 🤔

You get a charger with the bike and you plug in when battery is low so every 900ish miles ☺️ depending on how often you change gears! 😅
